Just Bill, if you didn't notice I said "for sure UWSP", way to make a new poster feel welcome.

"My guess is for sure UWSP."  No reason to guess. They're in.

The first and still most accurate description of the D3 Championship BeltTM thread.

Where's Champ when you need him to put some people back in their seats.   ;D

Boy comfortably in is correct. Even though I know it's not official I bet Coach Heeren and those girls are breathing a little easier this morning seeing that list.

Whitewater also projected to host and I'm guessing they'd take that group.

La Crosse at Illinois Wesleyan seems very likely. I'm sure they'd rather draw St. Norbert down there but Wisconsin Lutheran probably wouldn't be the worst draw; even though they beat  WW. Heck everyone is good now; I didn't think Carthage would beat WW last year either.0

I haven't seen enough UWL to know for sure but how does their style match up with IWU? Can they handle that pressure?

I watched bits and pieces of the UWW-UWL conference tourney game.  At times UWL did have trouble against the press.

Just Bill, I apologize, in the future I'll work to improve my sentence structure.

Agreed. It looked like a confidence issue. It wasn't that they didn't have the right setup to break the press (though UWW did a great job of putting on pressure), but that they were hesitant to follow through. They'll need to fix that collectively to beat a press in the tournament. In my opinion, with no 10 second clock, you should be breaking a press 95% of the time.

Without knowing any more than what you guys are saying I would suppose their biggest issue with at team like Illinois Wesleyan would be the cumulative effect of that press wearing a team down considering the starters play significant minutes and they go consistently three deep on the bench.

I guess it's a moot point before the bracket actually comes out and we find out who they're playing ... just something I was curious about after seeing the projections and thinking there's a likelihood they could end up down there.

Any draw is a good draw for the Eagles.  Just needed to get in.

Now let's see if they can string a run together.

(Ba dumm bumm!) Yeah, that would be an awfully long commute out east for the first game  :D :D

(I still remember that poll I posted regarding UWW's success in all their sports--someone else put in a choice "Ask DLK for more money"  I didn't know DLK personally and I was still in LOLOLOL! mode--)

I think Point got robbed here a bit.  St Norbs is good.  I would have expected Point to play Concordia in the first round.
