A nervous, sloppy start to the UWW-MUC game.  6-6 13min 1st half

29-27 Mount Union at the half.  WARHAWKS are their own worst enemy with 15 first half turnovers.  Actually it's remarkable they're even close turning the ball over like that.

At the half:

MUC leads UWW 29-27.  UWW outshooting them 48% to 34% but has turned it over 15 times compared to just 7 for MUC

What has really carried UWW in the first half was a 23-13 rebounding advantage. MTU is much more passive rebouding the basketball.

UWL down 13-11 with 10 min left in 1st half.  Sloppy start for UWL.

Season over

Too bad to hear, congrats to the UWW seniors on their season.

UWL down 5, turning the ball over too much, but so is Lutheran.

Side note: not sure how you get Lorenzo from Litrenta...

WLC 28, LaCrosse 21,  Half (Your Eagles are still hanging around)

UWL down 7 at half. Shooting 0-7 from 3 pt land, need to start hitting in the second half, or start taking higher percentage shots.

WIAC in real trouble of going 0-2 early on as WLC leads UWL, 60-49, with 4min left

UWL falls. It's too bad, they played well in the last 10 minutes of the half but couldn't close the gap. Had they played that way the entire game, it may have been a different story. Credit to Lutheran, they were poised, confident, and played well the entire game. It's been a lot of fun to follow these UWL seniors, congrats to all of them, they should be very proud of the way they've played this season.

Gotta wonder, remember that foul (at about 8 min left in 2nd half) that at first was thought to be called on WLC's 41 but was assigned to another Warrior (I was listening to the WLC feed) -- had the Warriors' other tall fould out earlier-- Didn't think WLC would out-rebound the Eagles either-

Yes, it was a big foul that they didn't give to the post defender from WLC. Would've been tougher for WLC to guard UWL down low then. However, I take what announcers say regarding fouls with a grain of salt, they don't always have a great view, and it's only one view of the field.

Areed with the rebounding. When you're taking long shots and missing like UWL was for the first 30 minutes, you're going to get more long rebounds, taking away the post advantage UWL had. Pure conjecture as to where the rebounds actually landed because I was only listening to the game.

Point wins over St Norbert, 79-69.

Point got out to a quick lead and led by about 15 halfway through the 1st half.  SNU came storming back, getting the deficit down to 1 numerous times.  Point quickly regained control early in the 2nd.  Point plays Simpson, who had to stave off a Concordia rally late in the game.

For awhile I thoughts that WIAC may go 0-for tonight.

Some credit to St Norb's but SP really dominated the game. They ran and ran and hit allot of big 3s. Simpson will be a cake walk for Point. They should win by at least 20. Simpson and Concordia, MN were both very sloppy and pretty much one dimensional. I also saw Shirley taking notes in the corner during the Simpson-Concordia game. I still see SP getting to the semi finals. Good year for young WW and LAX.
