taking in the Ole vs Stout game. Fair size crowd. The Mark Thomas era is history. the lights are out in the field house. the spots are roving every which way...The team and new Coach Iverson is introduced after the stout starters. We are in take off...

stout 29 - 24 at half. #11 for Stout looks like Magic ....Has the touch and total view of the court..Looks like Stout 'old timers' are adjusting to the new positions and offense. Predict final of Stout 63 to the Ole's55...we shall see.

Well, it's November 2018 and Stout Woman are 4 and 0. This is a good basketball team (Mark Who?). Have also seen Eau Claire and Oshkosh play twice. Whether due to injury or the guard play on EC being to hurried and wreckless with the ball, EC is already waiting for next year. I know they're 3 and 0 but this team is always in desperation mode. OshKosh looked pretty good. Wonder about their depth but they will be a contender. There is a very nice flow to the Stout game. They need to make the "bunnies" underneath. That said, Stout is back in the hunt for NCAA playoff and the WIAC championship. Stout could have 9 or 10 wins before WIAC play starts.

JMM

stout goes to 5-0. Seriously, this team can easily be 11=0 going into WIAC play. Talent and depth. They just need to stay the course...Play and not think.

JMM

Stout Goes to 6-0. 11-0 is looking better and better. Of course one game at a time.

The grind of conference play is in full gear. Nothing beats a team up or reveals how good one is like the grind of conference play.

Thursday night on Hoopsville we take a look at the grind and how teams are surviving, surprising, and even impressing as the holidays and the break quickly become a distant memory in the rear view mirror.

The first of the season's "WBCA Center Court" segments also debuts with the dedication of one coach off the court and with her family. UW-Platteville women's coach Megan Wilson talks about her daughter's battle with cancer and the decision to step away from coaching to help her daughter fight.

Hoopsville is presented by D3hoops.com and airs from the WBCA/NABC Studio. You can watch Thursday's show, LIVE, starting at 7:00 p.m. ET here: http://bit.ly/2D0Qd7t

[Great games yesterday! Stouts loses to WWO a 7 point lead in the last 4 minutes by 3! Stout missed a desperation shot at end of game! UWL,lead most of the 4th quarter with a great rally to lose by 2 on a layup by UWW with 4 seconds left! I think UWL still gets in with an at large, with a better record than WW!IFWW beats UWO tomorrow they will be out,as UWO would get at large bid. The WIAC dserves 2 teams in the dance!!

Voice of the Titans

Will be interesting to see what the committee decides today. 21-6 and a 3-pt WIAC Final loss wasn't good enough last year for UWO, will 18-9 and a 29-pt WIAC Final loss look more impressive for UWW this year? They could definitely do some damage if they get the nod.

UWPSUPERFAN77

NO! UWW gets the Bid over UWL! I think UWL was the better team this year. Reputation and a strong finish put UWW IN!

Voice of the Titans

Or, regional rankings, since they were 4th in the region.

What if UWW had lost twice to UWO in the regular season, and finished 17-11 with an even better SOS? 11-loss at large bid?

We'll never know.

Time to get the pronunciations down for the Fighting Sagehens.

UWL was not fourth in the region in the final rankings. Decisions aren't made on Week 3 rankings. Too much changes between Week 3 and the end: https://www.d3hoops.com/notables/2019/02/women-regional-rankings-final
