As defending Pick 'em champ I'll give the rest of the also-rans  something to shoot for by picking first this year:

River Falls at Platteville – River Falls has curious losses to Viterbo and Puget Sound sandwiched between big wins over St. Thomas and Bethel. Platteville has two home losses already, including last night to Finlandia (Ouch).          River Falls

Eau Claire at La Crosse – The Blugolds only blemish is a 2 pt loss to North Park, but the schedule so far is pretty weak, except they are the only WIAC team to beat Concordia, WI (#41 D3 Hoops). La Crosse has beaten traditionally strong Gustavus Adolphus and the same Viterbo teams that beat RF.                      Eau Claire

Superior at Stevens Point – Superior's losses have come against two DII teams and highly regarded NATHC member Edgewood. Their wins have come at the expense of teams with a combined 2-9 record. Stevens Point should be 5-0, but a disastrous second half of turnovers and poor shooting against St. John's prevented that. I've never picked against the Pointers, and I'm certainly not about to start here.      Stevens Point

Stout at Whitewater – Much like Superior, Stout's wins come against historically inferior teams, with the loss against a DII squad. Whitewater's victories thus far came against teams in the same category, but an upcoming game against perennial CCIW power Illinois Wesleyan on Wednesday will give a better read on where this team is.
