Greek Tragedy

It was definitely tough as a newly wed...trust me on that.  Sometimes I had to just sneak into the computer room to finish things up! lol :-)  I got yelled at a couple of times, but it was worth it.  >:( :'( :D

Well, it was good of you to do it for us.

I see that if I'd made the picks that one time, I might have won.  Oh, well.  At least I beat Brian Carroll and Big K!   :P

Thanks Old School for taking the time and the newly wed lashings to make it another great year.

There will be a caged-in Royal Rumble among BadgerWarhawk, Cubs and palum prior to the WIAC Final to determine this year's WIAC Pick Em winner.  Good luck.  And, no weapons please.
What fun is watching wrestling if there aren't at least a couple of "foreign objects" allowed?  :D

Thanks once again Old School for running things again this season!!!  As usual, you did a great job!!

As a former wrestler at P-ville I should welcome a cage match but age has turned me into a lover not a fighter.  If the final is in P-ville we could decide the Pick-Em by seeing who can down the most Long Island Ice Teas at Uno's.  Thanks again Old School!!

Brian Carroll

THANK YOU to the venerable OLD SCHOOL for running the pick'em competition again this year, Belated congratulations on your marriage as well. If you are half as good a husband as you are a 'pick em administrator, your wife has hit the jackpot. I suspect she feels that way in any case, and wish you both many years of happiness.  CHMARX: Congrats on finishing ahead of me for a change, and to the pick 'em winners, of whom I am deeply jealous. I will plot my revenge over the summer.

I think the odds would be in your favor, as you have experienced the Uno's/Annex Long Island.  We could set a line for that competition.  What is our time frame? Early line set at palum (- .75).  Since points can't really be awarded, I would say that 3/4 of a 34oz Long Island is a good start.  ;D :D ;) :)

I want to add my thanks to Old School for hosting the WIAC Pick'em board.  This was my first year and enjoyed it.   Coach Koelbl was my point guard in 8th grade and I enjoy going to the UW-L games even more since he took over.  I hope he continues to improve our fortunes at UW-L as I believe they underperformed this year.

Running the league again this year.  No points assigned to games, just wins and losses.  First game day isn't until Wednesday, Dec. 2nd...so you got awhile!
