Your point is taken. Not sure anybody beating anybody from 2-8 is an upset this year. And stout will upset a team, maybe two!

I could see Stout going 0-16, actually.

I have only see them play once this year so far (at home against Eau Claire), but I would agree that it would be no surprise if they go 0-16. All I saw was everyone standing around and there was NO movement whatsoever. It was ugly and boring to watch. Defensively I watched them leave Kailen over and over again let him hit 7 threes (I believe) and I can only recall 2 of those being decently contested. From the looks of it they did the same thing with Odegaard this weekend too. They might squeak a win out on an off night when they play Eau Claire, Oshkosh, or Superior. You never know.......

Platteville at Superior - I have no clue on this one, at all. I just think Stocki and company will be too much for the Yellowjackets. As my memory serves, Superior has played them tough in Mertz, but Platteville has won those close games. I don't see that changing.

Oshkosh at Stout - No program has had more rebuilding years in recent memory than Stout. Oshkosh is probably the team I know the least about, but their win at home vs. River impressed me. These two teams are tied for last in league in scoring, and are very close in offensive fg%. The difference is defense, where Oshkosh holds an edge, likely due to the youth of Stout who, aside from last year, always seems to be youthful. Oshkosh on the road.

Whitewater at Eau Claire - This SHOULD be a no-brainer, and you'd expect the Warhawks to walk away with this game. I'm pretty confident picking them, but look for this one to be a bit closer. Kalien is as good of a shooter as you'll find, and not a guy you can shut down. He'll go off. The big kid will be a difficult matchup for Whitewater too. He's pretty nifty in the post and has nice range. But Whitewater is too good to get off-track in this one. They'll likely pull away late.

La Crosse at Stevens Point - This is the spoiler for the road team sweep in my book. Point is blistering the league shooting almost 60% from the floor. Their defense is solid, too. They are the biggest surprise to me so far in this young season. Whatever Coach Sem is doing over there is sure working. They are so phenomenally disciplined it grosses me out! They have 5 guys shooting better than a 50% clip this year. That is crazy! Can't wait for the 21st to see them play WW.  Anyway- look for LaCrosse to hang for a while, but Point will just outshoot them down the stretch.
