Steve Morris to Kumerow for TD! 24-0 Hawks!

WarhawkDad

I love how the execution sounds.  It seems that everything is being executed well.  Executing the Bengals!

Geez option pass from Morris to Kumerow!    LOL, Up 24-0 still in first quarter.

This is the game plan we were all talking about, outside zone runs and passing attack, given the Buff State was stopping nothing outside in the film against Cortland? that you saw.   So far Behrendts sounds very accurate and the play calling sounds excellent.

Ok listen, I realize it's only the first quarter and things can change, but let me say IT'S ABOUT FREAKING TIME!!!
:)
I mean this in the most positive way as I'm truly thrilled w this offensive game plan.
Offensive success now puts pressure on their offense and our D is making them pay.
Thank you UWW coaches for bringing me back off the ledge.

Emma

I was wondering if you were listening!  What do you think?   Sounds like they are even using J. Howard out of the backfield.

Great mixture of play calling.

Looks like this is going to be a complete blow-out.   Offense scoring at will.  Defense getting turnovers and just scoring.  Special teams playing well; big returns, stripping ball on kick-off, making kicks.   45-7 in second quarter

I have to tell you WD that I'm blown away. Their approach to this game has allowed all of the talent on UWW to be utilized. I can't give a higher grade to the coaching staff  - A ++

Ok I found something to complain about.
Too much Huber. Need to engage all receivers- after all we all know the position is replete w head cases.

Emma = don't know if I'm reading you right on Behrendt "spreading the wealth" as far as targeting receivers.

Behrendt in the 1st half today: Justin Howard  4 catches, Kumerow 3 catches, Huber 2 catches, Patterson 2 catches, Christenson 1 catch.

In my mind that is pretty good work for 1 half.

WarhawkDad

I have been texting with some parents who are at the game and they are impressed with the crispness of the offensive execution.  And, they are doing it in a light rain as well.  The defense and special teams have created 5 turnovers.  So far limited Buff State to 159 yards and only 7 points.

The catch distribution is fantastic- very pleased.
As far as  "targeted" it sounded like Behrendt was going to Huber quite a bit late 2 nd early 3 rd.
no problem, I just needed to find something to work on this week.
