In what might be the two stupidest plays I have ever seen at the end of the game, UW-L hands the game to UW-O. Wow.

bleed, do you think Detweiller's job is in danger...La Crosse just looks like a train wreck.

I really hate to go there, but when your QB and your star player do what they did in back to back plays with the game on the line, it says something for sure.

What did they do, Readers' Digest version?

Down 3, UW-L completes a long pass to the UW-O 17 with less than 30 seconds left. They have one timeout left. Then they line up and instead of spiking the ball, the QB takes a knee! keeps the clock running and they burn their final timeout. Next play, they hit Bilderback on the sideline of the end zone. Ruled incomplete. Bilderback is PO'd and spikes the ball HARD. Unsportsmanlike conduct pushing them out of field goal range. Two desperate incompletions later, it's over.

Wondering the same thing.  I sure hope he stays healthy, he's had a nice start to the season.
