UWO with fifth interception of game with a little over a minute remaining while holding a 34-31 lead....

While it wasn't necessarily "pretty," UWO is able to win on St. Thomas' home field which is a tough place to play.

At this point, it's survive and advance, and UWO was able to do just that!!!

So UWO wins toss, defers, forces a three and out, and then marches 64 yards on their first possession to take a 7-0 lead....

UMHB then puts together a 20 play drive going 5/6 on third down, however UWO defense once again only "bends" as they hold UMHB to a field goal.

All in all, a pretty good first quarter for the Titans!!!

Teams have combined to go 12/17 on third down conversions in the first half.....   (MHB-8/11 & UWO 4/6)

At the risk of being Captain Obvious, I will say the defense that can get off the field on 3rd down in the second half will end up winning the Walnut and Bronze.

Disappointing that UWO wasn't able to do anything with the fumble recovery in UMHB territory.  They lose 13 yards on next two plays, and then end up punting only to have a touch-back instead of at least pinning UMHB deep.

Seems like that could be a BIG momentum boost for UMHB!!!!

UWO offense hasn't shown a whisper in the 2nd half. Kind of predictable play calling.
