Halftime

Not bad thus far for a UWO team that has to replace 10/11 starters from last years defense that lost to Mary-Hardin Baylor in the Stagg Bowl.... 

The first three points they gave up were a result of John Carroll returning an interception to UWO's 24 yard line, so the defense did a nice job holding them to three points on the short field.  The other seven points came on a 72-yard TD pass that was tipped twice before being hauled in by the WR.

UWO opened up a 23-10 lead before John Carroll scored with a little over 3:00 left in the 4th quarter to make it 23-17.

UWO faced a 4th down and 2 from their 44 with 2:22 to go, and went with the "fake" punt to convert it which allowed them to run out the clock.

Despite being pretty one-dimensional today (306 Rushing yards/39 passing yards) UWO opens the season with a quality road victory over the #8 ranked team.

The number of mental mistakes in this game is appalling. I call their preparedness into question. As I speak, Cole with another fumble off another poor snap. I rest my my case.

It's embarrassing seeing a total lack of enthusiasm from the team in white.
