La Crosse having an easy time thus far in Stevens Point, as they lead 28-0 at the half....

UWO should make a statue for Mentkowski and Hecker
Could probably put Kasper with those two as well......  Look at the bright side, all three are seniors so Whitewater won't have to face any of them again.

Proving conclusively that there is a god and he is benevolent.  The last time I wanted to see a Titan graduate this much it was Nate Wara.

Which one will you be happy to see gone?  Kasper?

Seems like that up until Saturday, Whitewater had done a good job of keeping Hecker "in check" in past games.

Both

I'd have to look at the stats from previous games but I've always had the feeling Hecker kills us.  I wish I had a buck for every tackle he ran through Saturday.

Hard to figure out how THIS Stout could have won any games they played.

Two Giant Thumbs up for the UWW broadcast crew. Great video, replay and a real effort at professional announcing and production. Even a half-time show including commentary on the first half and a look at other WIAC scores.
Very impressive.

Yaeggi exits with an injury, but La Crosse back-up QB is able to get Eagles on the board late in the second quarter to make it a 7-7 game at the half...

The Whitewater offense is awful.  My god, what a pitiful passing attack.

Look for the defense to wear down in the second half.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

KitchenSink

I should edit my last comment away, but instead I will congratulate the defense on a very good game. Much better than the webcast which kept freezing up for me

UWO forces a Platteville punt on their opening possession and then goes on a 15 play-87 yard drive which took over 7:00 off the clock to take an early 7-0 lead with 4:12 remaining in the first quarter today in Platteville....

Man if the Plattville QB could have tucked it and run on a few plays this game might be looking a lot different....now more than ever after the pick 6!

Platteville turns it over on downs on their second possession, and UWO fumbles on the ensuing possession giving Platteville GREAT field position near the UWO 25.  UWO defense holds however getting a sack on third down and incomplete pass on fourth down to keep it a 7-0 game in the second quarter.
