Officials these days are so lazy. The back judge just plants himself under the goal posts. EC throws to the corner of the EZ with an official right there; throws no flag. The lazy one 20 yards away calls his second PI in two possessions. Almost identical plays. The first one should have been offensive PI. He never moves 1 step during the play. Pathetic.

Agree 100%. The corner played the technique he is taught almost to perfection. The near official had a perfect view from the sideline and threw no flag. He threw no flag because there was no penalty. Either time.

17-7 Blugolds up over River Falls at halftime. Scored a TD right before half after the Falcons cut the lead to 10-7.

Fumbles and penalties are an issue for Eau Claire. 5 fumbles alone in the first half losing 2 and 5 penalties for 30 yards.

Starting QB Malueg for Eau Claire injured on a run midway through the 2nd quarter. On the sidelines now with a brace and crutches, so it looks like it will be Johnson at QB for the rest of the game.

The OAC has long had REALLY bad teams at the bottom (which is the main reason the conference is not ranked higher than it is), but it appears that Cap may be even more pathetic than Wilma, et. al., have ever been.

Blugolds dominates on the ground with a 27-14 win over River Falls. RB Austin Belot leads a rushing attack that put up over 340 yards on the ground with 223 yards himself. Cut down on the miscues in the second half. Solid win for my Blugolds.

The TD drive to open up the second half was vintage Warhawk football. Run it right down their throats for 7-10 yards a pop....all the way to the end zone.

Very impressive oline play to open the half.
