The WIAC pick em has really been non-existent for sometime now. Last year, three posters participated, but included ridiculous 1000-point bonus questions. The season winner may have even accumulated over a million points.

Pick Em's in basketball aren't anything like football. There's a ton of conference pick ems and they are all on one board, I believe.

Yeah, and I get it, and in fact I think the MIAA Pick 'Em is the only one truly surviving at this point.  No offense to the others, but other than last years 3 players, and you picking in the WIAC contest this year no others have been active since 2018.  Probably why none of them were ever moved.

Personally I would prefer it to be on the region board, if for no other reason that it's one place for me to monitor peoples general posts in the MIAA board, and the Pick 'Em.  Probably a bit easier for our pickers to find as well.  We have a fair number who only post to do the pick em contest.  Currently have 21 folks who have picked this year - always lose a few throughout the season, and typically gain a few as well.  Understood since you win such a valuable prize - bragging rights!

Just looked back at the file I use to do the scoring.  This is the 17th year I have done it (13th year we are using confidence points), and we have 4 pickers so far this year that were participating back in 2003-2004 when I took over.  I know the contest existed a few years before that (cause I participated).  Just don't remember who ran it back then, but whoever that was needed to not do it anymore so I started.  Love doing it

For what it's worth, I too would prefer this board wasn't moved. It's well attended where it was and made it easy to toggle between it and the MIAA board when they were next to each other. If I'm logging on on a Thursday, it's most likely to visit these two boards.

Moving it for the sake of moving it by someone who didn't even realize it was still here, even though it's been here forever, is annoying.

Duly noted, but it will be staying here, and there will still be the link from the Great Lakes board to keep people aware that it's now here.

I did do a tour of all eight regions and I missed the WIAC one.

Thanks for keeping the link on the Great Lakes board reminding me this moved. That's helpful and appreciated.
