I believe his greatest legacy comes not in how many football games he won or lost but in the fact that he was a committed follower of Jesus Christ.

Bird Dog

Well this rookie missed every prediction for tonight.    Time to slink back into my hole and lick my wounded pride.

doolittledog

My only prediction for Saturday, is Dubuque will shoot better than 15% in the first half at Central  ;)

doolittledog

Down 24-23 at the half...Dubuque comes back to win at Central 70-51.

The win puts Dubuque at 1-1 in conference play.

Hello hello hello

Dubuque women beat cross-town somewhat rival Clarke College wednesday night

Was at the Luther-LaCrosse game last night.  Luther looked better than their record but they did struggle scoring in the 2nd half.

Also it looks like Sharese Van Sloten of Wartburg has a wonderful game last night.  The box score said she had 37 points and 15 rebounds.  Those are player of the week type numbers :)

Hope everyone is surviving the snow!

LC is only going to get better as the year goes. But they do need to find some scoring or else it could be a long year. Hopefully a good trip out west after x-mas can propel them into the conference schedule.

Wartburg beat previously undefeated Gustavus 72-68 Sunday night.

"Senior post player Sharese VanSloten of Decorah, closing a 55-point, 22-rebound weekend, dropped in 18 points and pulled in seven rebounds."

Still won with S. Harrington 0-6 from 3.

Turnovers killed LC against UPS once again...24 for the game and they only lost by 10...gotta find a way to stop turning the ball over...hopefully they can rebound today against Linfield.

Both would be the answer to that...They picked up the 2nd win of the season last night...just happy to see W's right now

Yes ... UD beat Southwestern U. 58-52 last night and will meet Concordia-WI tonight after Concordia beat Pacific Lutheran 64-42.

GO SPARTANS!
Reality is for those who lack imagination 😀

Simpson wins at Dubuque 92-73 on Saturday.  At least from the UD write up the Spartans kept it close before the Storm pulled away late.

Next up for the Spartan ladies is at Loras on Wednesday...tipoff at 6pm
