I wonder what the NCAA would do with their grouping then? Would Lewis and Clark and George Fox from the Northwest fly into Iowa?  Not having any byes in this tournament is going to be expensive with the geographical locations.  Or would they fly Coe out to the Northwest to save money, but give them the easiest draw?

If Simpson wins the AQ, is this a two bid league?  I have to think it is.

If Coe wins the AQ, do they host first/second round? Does Simpson get in?

I've got to think it would be.  I just don't see Coe going from being ranked #1 in the Region in every set of the rankings, to not getting an at-large bid should they lose to Simpson.

Kind of goes back to the above statement.  If Coe gets in as the AQ, I don't see how they wouldn't host having been the #1 team in the region in each set of rankings.  Only way that probably wouldn't happen is if they didn't put in a bid to host.

After seeing that Simpson struggled with Cornell yesterday, I think a Wartburg-Simpson rubber match should be a good one.

As I posted on the NW board, if the NW gets a Pool C Bid, and Chapman a Pool B bid, that would be a four team first round to be played in either the NW or Southern California. That would be the most economical. But, I am just speculating.

After looking at the SCIAC, and NWC I agree with your theory.

Really Wartburg?

Didn't see that one coming.

Congratulations to Loras, U.D. and number their number one fan Doolittledog.  Last year Loras was the first a sixth seed in league history  to win a tournament game and now U. D. does.  Could be a trend.

Good luck to the remaining teams.

I think that means both the UD men and women will be playing at Coe next.  I wonder if I could talk my wife into roadtrip for Thursday???

UD women play at Simpson.  Loras women play at Coe.

Sorry about the misunderstanding.  I meant the game on Saturday if we both happen to win.  Thursdays game.

Good Luck Kohawks!  Two to Dance!

Dubuque women lose a close one at Simpson 75-73.  The Spartan women closed out the season strong.  It should be fun to see how they do next year.  They are coming on strong.

U.D. fans get two out of three tonight.  Can't wait to see the box score of the Girls game.  Congratulations.

I too would like to congratulate the Coe women's team.  Additionally I would like to thank the Coe fans and the Simpson fans and Pep band.  What an atmosphere for the game.  After the game the girls commented how loud it was.

Mike Hamilton (Amy's Dad) came up to me and said he had pictures of our daughters competing in a high school volleyball game.

I am hoping that our daughters will get one more chance to compete in the tournament.  It would be nice to have two IIAC teams with tickets to the dance.

Krazy did you see me at the game last night.  I was the one in the white shirt.

Today U.W Stevens Point and U.W. Whitewater play their championship game at 2:00pm.  One of these teams may be in the same opening round pairings with Coe.
