I too would like to congratulate the Coe women's team.  Additionally I would like to thank the Coe fans and the Simpson fans and Pep band.  What an atmosphere for the game.  After the game the girls commented how loud it was.

Mike Hamilton (Amy's Dad) came up to me and said he had pictures of our daughters competing in a high school volleyball game.

I am hoping that our daughters will get one more chance to compete in the tournament.  It would be nice to have two IIAC teams with tickets to the dance.

Krazy did you see me at the game last night.  I was the one in the white shirt.

Today U.W Stevens Point and U.W. Whitewater play their championship game at 2:00pm.  One of these teams may be in the same opening round pairings with Coe.

There were a lot of people wearing White yesterday for the Whiteout.  What a great atmosphere for a basketball game though!

I Don't think the Kohawks could have asked for a better region.  So weird the connections to Morris and Howard Payne.

That was a great game to watch.  Congratulations and good luck against Illinois Wesleyan.

I'm so happy 'cause today I found my friends. They're in my head.  I'm so ugly, that's okay, 'cause so are you!

Looks like the Kohawks will get Illinois Wesleyan on a Neutral court.  I think it will be a great game!

Great job ladies.

Quite a season, best ever, but I bet not for long.  I saw three freshmen that looked like they could play with anybody.

...and Kayla Waskow is Dynamite, plus Leslie Ware is coming back!

Just re-load Kohawks and get back there next year.

COO COO for the women's basketball KOHAWKS!

Congratulations to the Kohawks.  You have a very impressive team, especially given their youth and that this was their first NCAA experience.  That was one of the toughest fought games IWU has had all year, and it was in question right down to the end.  Well done!
You'll never walk alone.

Congrats to Kayla Lincoln and Randi Peterson on being honored by D3Hoops.com.  First Team for Kayla and Coach of the Year for Randi!

Final women's basketball polls are out.  Coe comes in at 13 USA Today/ESPN Coaches poll and 14th in the D3 Hoops poll.  Simpson is one out of the top 25 in the USA poll and seven out of the top 25 in D3.

Congratulations to the players and coaches at Coe and Simpson.

Enough basketball on  to track and field my daughter is on the Coe track team and her twin brother is a decathlete at Augustana in Rock Island.  Unfortunately they usually only have one meet together at the other school in Dubuque.

Editorial Comment:  After watching the final four I think Coe would have been very compeditive against any of those teams.

Ghost of MIAC Past

Not sure hiring the assistant of a program that's been on a downward swing, while she was there, is the best move to make.

Won a national title as a player, though, along with the aforementioned individual honors. Worth giving her a shot because if Luther didn't, someone would have.
