I think it was that middle pattern.  A great pattern against a 3 man rush like Ithaca had on that play.  No one for IC in the deep middle which they should have with 8 players in coverage.

Since it was thrown forward once it can't be thrown forward again even though it was caught behind the LOS by the QB...
