can't see it.  is there not a 8 hour travel limit for rounds one and two?  if so would it not limit the ratings?

500 Miles I believe...

Salisbury & Endicott - 459 Miles
Salisbury & Kean - 211 Miles
Salisbury & DVC - 163 Miles
Salisbury & Widener - 121 Miles
Salisbury & Montclair - 222 Miles

If they wanted to Salisbury can certainly go to the East...
The views expressed in the above post do not represent the views of St. John Fisher College, their athletic department, their coaching staff or their players. I am an over zealous antagonist that does not have any current connection to the institution I attended.

Especially with a large number of teams in the south that were undefeated...

It would be a geographic head scratcher, but I would like to see Salisbury become officially Eastern Region since they are now a part of the E8. And frankly the region needs a Salisbury or Wesley to give it a legitimate #1 seed.
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

Frank Rossi

Note:  I still believe Mount Union would come into the East if Salisbury were the only undefeated team located in the East-centric bracket.  If the North has two or more other undefeated teams, I think the Committee's hand would be forced to spread out the undefeateds in such a way.  If Hobart and Salisbury are undefeated, we will have a very odd circumstance based on how the Committee views the 8-0 record.

I'll still be hoping for Montclair at 10-0 to really make it unlikely.

Delaware Valley is 7-0 too. They've got a couple of tough games left, but still, you've got them in the mix. I think there are a few true East teams who could go 10-0 and be a legit #1 seed.

What would push Salisbury to the east?

Two of the 6 Pool C bids going to the South Region, SCAC and ASC.  My guess, for the sake of filling brackets would be Centre and the LaCollege/McMurry winner.

Right now, I see Pool A bids from the ODAC, Pres AC and USA South.

Wesley may be stronger than Huntingdon and CWRU for the Pool B bid.

There are the 8 teams for a South Region bracket

My week #7 projected 8-team East Bracket ...

E8 Salisbury
LL Hobart
MAC Del Valley
NEFC
ECFC
NJAC Pool A
NJAC Pool C

and who gets sent eastward...

Would a team sent East have to be an MUC/#1 seed? I mean, Hobart I get not being a #1 if they are 8-0, but what do you think would keep the East with its own #1?

Ralph Turner

How about JHU from the South Region Centennial Conference?
(Sorry that I did not consider them with the South Region.)

Just read Endicott lax traveled to salisbury this past spring for the first round of the NCAA tournament.  so it has been done.

Kilcarr gets the start over Secky down at Frostburg.  He is undefeated as a starter.

Saxons force a Frostburg fumble and work the ball down to the goal line where they get stuffed on 4th and goal from inside the 1.

Alfred missed a FG, but roughing the kicker gives them a second life.  Dwyer takes a direct snap in.  XP partially blocked. 6-0, Alfred early in the second.

Jon Jackson INT results in a Saxon TD on a Kilcarr keeper. 13-0, Alfred.

Frostburg FG attempt hits the upright and is no good.  Alfred fumbles the ball after a completion and Frostburg converts it into 6.  13-7, Saxons with 4 minutes left in the half.

Nick Clark intercepts and takes it to the house with under a minute to go in the half.  20-7, Alfred.

Bobcats race down the field and score with seconds left in the half.  XP blocked.  20-13, Alfred.

Frostburg recovers onside kick at Alfred 35....one pass later, ties it up at the half, 20-20.

Ugh.  My parents called on Skype and all I knew was someone scored just before the half.
