AU  37   IC  7   Final

Correction: AU 31, IC 7.

Pep pleased his Saxons (and the band) came to play today. The AU defense amazed Pep, shutting down the run, getting 8 sacks and solid pass coverage. Complete team effort. Bent a little but didn't break. On the other side of the ball, Pep was concerned when Dwyer went out early to injury....glad to see him run on the field at start of second half (although not playing). Sopak settled in after a shaky first series and was effective both with the run and pass. And Beckwith? The guy's a beast.

Best of luck to the Bombers the rest of the way!

On Saxon Warriors!
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

On Saxon Warriors!

Pep, Im starting to draw some similarities to the 05 team. Bad first game, but solid defense carrying the team. Transfer qb starting to find his feet, solid run game with multiple rb threats. Definitely very similar to 05. We will see how it all plays out.

shocker...Fisher can't move the ball. Fisher punts. If not for 2 flags on AU, fisher has negative yardage I believe.
GO FISHER!!!

sjfcards

Touchdown Fisher. 6-0 Cards!!!
GO FISHER!!!

missed pat....what the heck.
special teams not so special for Fisher

sjfcards

Not much time for AU to answer with a long TD run. 7-6 AU...not exactly an inspiring performance for Fisher thus far.
GO FISHER!!!

Feed keeps going in and out.

Fisher gives gifts then AU earns a great td
This one is a total disaster for Fisher.

So with Bart out and my kid now 7 weeks old, I talked my wife into us going to our cabin for the weekend and didn't pay close attention to the D3 games (I watched the ND/Stanford game and can't believe how badly they f'ed that call in OT up).  I'm seeing your comments and it sounds like SJF had the game taken away from them.  Can you describe this situation (situations) to me in better detail and how it affected the outcome?
