First play of the second quarter, Tristan Brown goes around the right untouched for a 6 yard touchdown run.  76 yard drive for the Bombers pays off with the lead.

Kyle Hoppy, the main Bengals QB, seems to have an injury issue (possibly head).  He's been taken out twice this series and is now being looked at. (Edit: and then put right back in next play.)

As for the game, the Bombers had held the Bengals to a 3 and out, only to give it right back when they fumble the punt return.  Meanwhile, the Bengals have collected 7 penalties so far.  Game full of mistakes by both teams.

Meanwhile at the Fisher game - these refs are atrocious.

After what was a very long drive due to some penalties, the Bombers punch it in again, this time on a pass to Ben Cary from 4 yards out.  A 55 yard drive that took 12 plays and almost 7 minutes

Buffalo 7 Ithaca 17, 4:59 left 2nd Quarter.

The Bombers have had 243 yards of offense to the Bengals 32.

EDIT- Following the kickoff, the Bombers came up with an interception in the first play of the next Bengals drive, getting the ball on the Buffalo 8.  3 plays later though, the Bengals came up with another interception in the end zone.  Like I said, a game full of mistakes.

Fenti takes a QB keeper into the end zone and is tackled, fumbles the ball AFTER he crosses the line.  How is that not a touchdown you ask?  I don't know, ask the refs.  Ruled a touchback.

Buffalo State puts together its first long drive of the day even with their starting QB Mark Hoppy still sidelined.  They go 80 yards (thanks in large part to 2 receptions of over 25 yards) and Edwin Young makes the final catch for a 7 yard touchdown.  Dan Serignese seems to be the guy for now.

In other E8 games, Salisbury has a 36-19 lead on Utica with less than 4 minutes to go.  3 Salisbury players have 70 or more rushing yards.

Buffalo State gets a 30 yard punt return to the Ithaca 35 for the 3rd possession of the half and cover the distance in 4 plays, giving Buffalo the lead back.  Mike Doherty getting the touchdown reception.

Buffalo State's offense has come alive in the 2nd half, ending with them fooling Ithaca on the play action for a 2 yard touchdown pass by Serignese to Jesse Williams.

Buff St. takes a 28-17 lead late in 3rd.  Ithaca had a chance to go up 24-7 late in first half but threw an INT in the end zone.  Buff St has taken the game over since then.

Ithaca starts trying to put a drive together but they fumble it just inside Buffalo State territory.  That is the Bombers 4th turnover of the game.
