Buffalo State adds a 30 yard field goal on the drive following the fumble, giving them a 2 touchdown edge.

Buffalo State 31 Ithaca College 17, 13:01 remaining

And on the very first play of the next IC possession, they throw their 2nd Pick 6 of the day, their 5th turnover of the day.

This one is over folks, and to be honest, Ithaca doesn't deserve this one.

Buffalo State 38 Ithaca 17, 12:45 remaining.

Buff St pick for TD and now lead 38-17.  Ithaca can not get anything going.

Ithaca goes for it on 4th and 7 on the Buffalo 10, Tom Dempsey finds Ben Cary in the back of the end zone, but the refs rule that Cary went out of bounds on his own then went back in, invalidating the catch.  Turn over on downs for IC.

Buffalo State 38 Ithaca 17, 9:05 to go.

EDIT: Buffalo State can't get a first down, and on the subsequent punt attempt, the snap goes high and out the end zone, leading to a Bombers safety.

Buffalo State 38 Ithaca 19, 6:40 remaining.

Fisher up 42-0 but Hartwick is legit driving for the first time today.

...What an unreal sequence.  Ithaca College gets it to the 1 yard line, get up to it quickly, go QB sneak, one ref signaled touchdown but it was not, they go QB sneak again, and seem to get it in, only for the refs to have blown it dead for a Buffalo State timeout.   The Bombers then go QB sneak again, but this time they muff the snap and commit turnover number 6 of the day.

Buffalo State 38 Ithaca 19, under 3 to go.

Glad I could help.

Ithaca adds a junk time touchdown and a 2 point conversion, but they can't field the following onside kick and that is the end of that.  The Bombers lose at home on Homecoming/ Alumni Weekend.

FINAL- Buffalo State 38 Ithaca College 27

Just a disaster for ithaca. Two pick sixes, two more turnovers inside the 10. Credit buff state for making the plays but it's hard to say the bombers didn't lay an egg

Hartwick added a couple of garbage time scores on the old backups.  Final score:

Fisher 42
Hartwick 13

Wasn't that close either.  Man, those refs sucked.

Great looking opening drive for Fisher. Fusco breaks a long run, and they score a few plays later. 7-0 Fisher. Only down side was a false start penalty and burning a time out.
GO FISHER!!!

sjfcards

Well...not as good a start as I would have hoped for Fisher. Sloppy is the word. Penalties and miscues on offense. D looks good however.
GO FISHER!!!
