Saxons get ball with 2 mins to go, on a 3rd down play, a screen pass is picked off returned for Brockport TD to give Eagles 45-35 lead.
AU then takes kickoff, marches downfield and scores with 20 seconds remaining.
AU recovers onside kick (decided randomly by referee) with ongoing fighting for the ball under a pile of humanity.
AU completes pass to the Brockport 42, out of bounds.
Hail Mary intercepted in end zone.

Ithaca catches a break early.  Against option teams it is critical to get a jump on them early and make them play from behind.  Already down 3-0 the Salisbury QB drops back to pass on 2nd and short, trips and falls over himself for a loss of 6 yards.  They couldn't convert on 3rd and long, punt the ball back to Ithaca who is driving.

Ithaca drive comes to a halt, they punt, Salisbury player muffs it and Ithaca recovers.  That is gift #2.  Let's see if Ithaca can convert.


Yup -they convert on the very next play for a TD.

For god sake.  Salisbury player breaks contain to the outside but slips on the grass and falls over untouched.  Salisbury is forced to punt.  Ithaca is playing well and sticking to their assignments, but Fisher received none of these gratuities against the Steaks.

After the 1st quarter it is 10-0 Ithaca.  The Bombers will start the second quarter with the ball in the redzone.  If they score here it could start to get ugly.

Holy crap.  So the Bombers run the wildcat formation on 2nd down and a high snap goes over the wide receivers head, he eventually falls on it.  So on 3rd and 27 Dempsey does exactly what you'd expect - throws a TD pass.

Missed FG attempt by Ithaca and the score remains 16-0 with about 6 minutes left in the first half. 

On the following Salisbury drive, first play, Dunbar throws an interception.  This is what happens when an option team starts to get down big.  Nice work Ithaca.  Let's see if they can put some more points on the board and really put the squeeze on.

Ithaca manages a 45 yard field goal to go up 19-0 with a little over 2 minutes in the half.  Their kicker has made a 41 and 45 yard field goal today, missed another 45 yard attempt. 

Great work by Ithaca's offensive line in the 1st half.  Dempsey has had an embarrassingly long amount of time in the pocket.
