Interception by Johnson and that'll do it. utica will improve to 6-3 and 4-3 in the conference.

And the 4th down interception loses about 20 yards for Utica....there was a time when AU had a DB who made some nice interceptions on fourth down that cost the Saxons about 40 yards....

Good game, Pioneers! Saxons fell asleep in the second half. Must have been the late start.  ;)

BIG interception at the midfield by Ithaca's Sam Carney, returns it to the Hobart 20.  2 turnovers already for Ithaca in the first quarter.

More lulz for Fisher...

Get a first and goal at the 6...

Put Fusco in the "wildcat", something they have never done this season, and the snap goes through his hands and they lose 16 yds on the play...

Then the play clock almost expires on the next play and they have to burn a time out...

TOUCHDOWN BOMBERS.  Chris Bower catches the quick underneath pass on the far side, slips out of 2 tackles and clears the 20 yards for the 6 points.  And... the extra point hits the upright and bounces off.

Ithaca 6 Hobart 0, 6:12 in the first.

Ithaca forces a 3rd turnover (2nd by interception) after having their drive set back in shallow Hobart territory.  Ithaca beginning to get quite a few short fields here, taking over at the Hobart 26.

Well, Ithaca gets first and goal on the 1, but 2 straight plays of nothing followed by a sack holds the Bombers back to the 10... and the field goal attempt hits the upright on the right but this time bounces in.

Ithaca 9 Hobart 0, 5:53 left in the first half.

Ithaca adds another field goal (this time from 31 yards by Nicholson) after forcing a 3 and out and 1 big play took them to the Hobart 20, only to stall out on the 14.

Ithaca 12 Hobart 0, 2:29 left in the 2nd Quarter.

Hobart had a great kickoff return to their own 48, had a great QB scramble make it to the Ithaca 22... only for them to then get picked off again (3rd interception, 4th turnover overall) to stop the drive and keep a 2 score edge for the Bombers entering into the 2nd half.

HALFTIME: Ithaca 12 Hobart 0.

Fisher has broken 3 huge runs and all three have been brought back on holding calls...

I'd say that Fisher should make a switch at QB but they're already on their third stringer...
