Final in Oneonta ...Cortland 50, Hartwick 47

Hawks with 684 yards, Cortland 579 including 239 rush. D. Walker 19x30, 315 yards passing. D. Davis 15 for 107 yards on the ground. J. Mannix 5 catches, 68 yards; J. Smith 4x68 for CSt. Wick's B. Pine 33x47, 521 yards, 3 TDs .... Also rushes 23 times for 82 yds.  R. Richards 11 catches for 134 yards, 1 TD; B. Garcia 10x166, TD; K. Reed 9x202, TD

Decisive drive on Wick punt to Cortland 42. Returned to Wick 44. On 3rd-and-5 from the 39, Walker runs near naked bootleg right for 23 yards. Dragons run the clock down for S. Cronin fourth down 30 yard field goal. Quite the comeback .........neither side sporting a lot of defense, obviously!!

Jonny Utah

IC/Wick just started.  Looks like rain and the grass looks long.

Hartwick ball to start off.

Jonny Utah

Hartwick punts, hits a bomber in the head and the Wick gets it back around midfield.

Jonny Utah

IC makes a nice pick at the goal line, then drives easily 80 yards for a nice TD.

Upstate

That Hartwick defense is a sieve...

Jonny Utah

Wick with a big pass down the sideline, then a floater pass puts them up 7-6 early in the 2nd quarter.

Jonny Utah

IC fumbles, then Wick fumbles.

Game getting chippy, IC linebacker called for a late hit on the QB on a slide.

Bombers ball and driving.

Jonny Utah

IC running the ball well.  Brown scores. XP kicked.

13-7 IC, still 2nd quarter.

Buff St. 17, Cortland 14 at the half

Seems like Bengals more in control with 290-153 yard advantage. RDragons strike with 1:22 left in the second quarter on long 43-yd TD throw from D. Walker to J. Smith.

BS qb K. Hoppy 17x29, 221 yds. Buffs miss three opportunities ... Hoppy misfire to end zone and wide open receiver, and two field goals, one blocked and the other on mishandled snap

Walker 6x14, 105, 1 int, 2 td

Upstate

Ithaca running roughshod over Hartwick...

36-13...

Hartwick can not do anything on offense this half, great job by the IC DL putting pressure on Pine...

Buff St is letting Cortland stick around...

29-21 BSC with 4 left in the 3rd...

Buff State's Hoppy riddling Cortland secondary .......Is 24x37 and about 350 yards passing ....

Bengals 29-21 late in the third.  BS up 29-14 when fumbled punt leads to J. Akins' 35 yard TD for RDragons .....

Buffalo St. 29, Cortland 21 entering fourth quarter. RDragons' R. VanGalen  at qb for D. Walker late in the third

Bengals lose RB D. Stewart to injury on his fifth carry -- a fumble, early in the first quarter

Upstate

And Ithaca reaches the half century mark vs probably the WORST defense in E8 history...

50-20 with 5:00 left...

Would love to see a pick 6 by IC's defense to put the icing on the cake...
