the only thing that makes me feel remotely good today is that wick didnt win the e8

If Íts any consolation, RPI fans can comisurate with you..a disappointing loss to Kings Point gives RPI 2nd loss and knocks us out of NCAA considersation. What a letdown when just 2 weeks ago and undefeated reg season and potential 1 or 2 seed was a possibility. Now its tough to even get motivated for a potential ECAC game. Boy the East was just sloppy in 08

That's a shock.  I can't believe Merchant Marine had it in them to upset RPI, especially with a Pool C bid on the line.
Justin Bieber created 666 false D3 identities to give me negative karma.

I would love to see A Hartwick vs RPI game next week. How does the whole ECAC thing work?

Senor RedTackle

Shock is a good word (althought not RTs first choice).

RT can't believe that RT loses that game w/ a potential NCAA berth on the line. Missing our best WR has hurt and inconsistent Oline play didn't help. Gotta hand it to MMA for not laying down but as an RPI fan, the feeling is disappointment, to say the least. Rt would not want to be on that bus back to Troy right now.

Is it possible this game could go so long that it ends due to darkness?  Does ALF have lights?

The lights were on the entire game. Merrill Field has had lights longer than any D3 stadium. Lights were installed back when they invented electricity because Alfred, out of deference to its Seventh Day Baptist heritage (observe the Sabbath from sundown Friday to sundown Saturday), played all of its games under the lights on Saturday nights until 1958.
On Saxon Warriors! On to Victory!
...Fight, fight for Alfred, A-L-F, R-E-D!

Long run by Grastorf puts Ithaca in Curry territory, but 3 plays later the Bombers have to punt. Way to pass it on 3rd and 2 in those conditions, Welchie.

Grastorf and Ruggiero in, Juvan and Bergerstock out.

Well, that's a bad start. Curry hits an 80-yard pass on their first play. Two plays later Curry passes it in. I'm having RPI flashbacks.

3 plays, 90 yards.

Missed PAT, 6-0, Curry.

TD, Bombers!! Weverbergh, of course. Nice, methodical drive by the Bombers. The kid is a stud.

7-6, Bombers. The PAT goes off the goalpost and thru.

Watching the Cortland webcast.  Man Plymouth looks horrible.  Snow is wild though.
