Alfred gets it down to the 1 and runs out the clock.  24-16 final.  Whew.

I might nudge Alfred down a spot or two, depending on the other results today.  It'll be interesting to see where, if at all, Alfred will land in the Top 25 tomorrow night.

To me, a team like Alfred, who doesn't play quality OOC teams, really needs to win impressively against these bad teams

This is a serious question...Didn't Ithaca struggle a bit against St. Lawrence?  Are they just an improved team?

To start they did but IC pulled away in 2nd half...

An E8 team is going to hang 70 on Wick, they look horrible and are down 35-13 w/ 10 to go to Norwich...

An Ithaca team with 6 suspended starters beat St. Lawrence by 30 points

I wasn't aware of the suspensions.  Just thought they struggled in the first half.  Still could be a marginally improved St. Lawrence.

Ah, yes. Ithaca was missing their top three pass-catchers, which explains the slow offensive start. Could be that St. Lawrence is better, but Alfred winning that game by 8 just looks bad to me.

Jonny Utah

St. Lawrence is improved I'm sure.  They also have a head coach that has beaten Alfred a lot over the last 10 years at Ithaca.

That being said, Norwich has a decent football history and could also be an improved team.

Yeah I really couldn't tell if Wich was good or Wick was horrible...

I think Wich goes undefeated and takes a pool B...

I think Utica runs the table in the E8 E5.

I haven't looked it up so I don't know about their pre-E8 program, but as far as I know, Norwich has an awful football history with the exception of last year in that awful league they're now in.
Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all time thing. You don't win once in a while, you don't do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit.
