Old IC Voice

Two long runs, two first downs.

They're certainly keeping this interesting.

Bombers798891

Completion to the IC 24. Smells like it's time to kiss the NCAA's goodbye

Gotta love Bomber punters. The only time they actually kick it far is when they put it in the end zone
Seriously.  Thats how it seems its been all year.  50 yard punts into the end zone and 20 yard punt from their own territory.

IC should let Lycoming score
Not since they missed that XP.  Why didn't they use their time outs!?!  ???  ???

Clutch kick. 26-24 Lycoming.

Can we get the band on the field?

Another year, another Bomber team that can't win tough road games. The names change, the results never do. Make them work on the road and you can bet on them not pulling it out at the end.

This is just how it works. Hold Coney to nothing on the ground at home, allow 232 rushing yards on the road.

It's too bad. This team could have gone 9-1 and made the NCAA's. But it's clear the team shouldn't even bother with the running game, and teams can just do nothing but load up on the pass.

Anxiously awaiting the annual evisceration at the hands of Fisher....

Tough loss, but Lycoming's a solid team. As I said in the pick-em thread, there's no shame in losing by a TD at Rowan in the opener.

Reset, pick it up for next week against Hartwick.

Because they let them get 1st downs on every freaking play they ran

This is a very uncharacteristic IC team...

No semblance of a running game at all this year...

I would honestly go 3-4-5 WR sets all game and just chuck it...

I honestly wonder if they even have 200 yards rushing on the year...

To all Bomber posters:

Tough game for both teams - if you look at the stats - and to be sure they only tell part of the story - the teams were fairly evenly matched in overall figures.  Too many penalties for my taste, though.  And a bit surprising in the rushing category too.

Lycoming was down 4 - 1 to I in the series so it does leave a good taste to get one from you guys - the other being an OT win several years ago.

Good luck the rest of the way - Will Carter - had a career day for tackles IMHO.

As an IC fan, I'm hoping King coming back for the Hartwick game revitalizes the run game a bit. I don't know how much one guy can help, but at 6'6", 290, and being a senior, his presence sure couldn't hurt. However, the loss of Peck doesn't help matters.

Yeah, Lycoming's solid, but this was a choke job. They had two possessions late in the 4th quarter with the lead and couldn't pick up a first down on any of them. That's what good teams do. Lycoming made the plays when they needed to. The Bombers didn't.

Everything the Bombers earned two weeks ago is basically for naught. Their only hope now is to win the conference and we know how that movie goes.
