Someone has to explain to me how you can let a triple option team beat you with the pass when you're up 23-13 with 4:45 to go. You KNOW they're going to have to pass. And you give up a 73-yard TD?

Then at 23-20 with 1:21 to go and Salisbury with the ball on their own 25 with only 1 timeout. Again, it's pretty clear the pass is likely. Even if you rip off 15-yard runs, you need three to four of them to even get into FG range.

It's just sort of amazing that a team that usually only passes out of surprise is able to march down the field through the air, on the road no less. Astounding

Hey Pride!

Springfield fans not making the trip out to Mayberry for today's 12:30 p.m. kickoff will be happy to know that Empire8TV will be streaming the game at: http://www.empire8.tv/play/index.cfm?fuseaction=embstay&id=2315118086

In addition, play-by-play radio coverage by WLEA is also streamed live at: http://www.canisteovalleynews.com/

Good news here is that morning cloud coverage is to give way to afternoon sun, with only a 20% chance of rain this afternoon.

I can't see anyone remaining on Hobart's schedule who can beat them. Wouldn't be surprised to see Alfred run the table too, which means low odds on Mount Union in the East bracket this season.

Alfred still has at least 3 tough games left - @ Fisher, Salisbury and @ Ithaca.  I could see Hobart going 8-0, but would the committee make them a #1 seed?  I'd guess not.

That would be a pretty bad #1 seed. Dickinson stinks, and everyone else in the LL already has two losses. They'd need Fisher to go 9-1 to even be considered for that in my mind.

This is true bombers, but if they do go 8-0, they should at least get a top 2-4 seed in dlip's mind. Obviously the scheduling of 8 games is unfortunate if this team is indeed as good as they showed today. This scheduling will/should hurt them regarding the seedings though. At this point, to keep MUC the **** out, dlip is hoping both Bart and Alfred run the table. That is if Bart should beat Union in Shocktown, which is likely, but not a given. Either way dlip is very impressed with this win for the LL and for Bart. **** at least the conference has one OOC game to be proud of (mayyyyyyyyyybe 2 with U of R's win over CWR).

I would assume Bart's resounding victory over Fisher will carry a lot of weight with the committee, as Fisher has been a fixture in the post-season for several seasons. But I agree that an 8 game schedule is weak and deserves a final rankings penalty.

Bombers up 14-0.  Hendel looking great, 14-17 for 165 and 2 scores in the first half.  Bombers looking good today.

Wow...Utica up 28-21 late in the 2nd quarter...UC looking good offensively...

Wick down 14-0 at halftime...moving the ball well enough...but stalling inside the 20 (fumbled once at the 15, and missed a 30 yard FG).  They need to punch one in early 3rd to keep this from getting out of hand.  One more score for IC without answering will be tough to recover from...

28-21 UC at halftime over Salisbury....

Still thinking about that TD IC got right before half (20+ yard TD pass)...huge momentum swing...Wick needs to come out strong...

Is Hartwick's secondary that bad or is Ithaca's passing game starting to click?
