WOW

The Delaware Valley SID, beat writer and I watched the final couple minutes and went nuts when they scored.  Or at least I did.  East region pride!

I hope BengalsRule survived the game. He must be going nuts right about now

I have to say that I am stunned not only by the result but the manner in which it was done. Buffalo State had allowed 31 and 38 in their first two games, and now 6 to #1?? Good Coaching and a team that strives to get better.

Upstate

Spent the day in the ER with my son and we were able to catch most of the game on my droid.  I am beyond shocked, the double hook and ladder was absolutely incredible!

There D Line was amazing. I don't think they respected UWW pass game enough, they had 7 and 8 in the box the whole game and made solid tackles. Also, UWW didn't capitalized on some passes. However, the front seven held there own all game and the back 4 contained the receivers as well. I feel Buff State offense was good all game, they could have another 6 or 7 points on the board.

I can't believe it worked and they still came out with the win, with that penalty.

Could someone describe what happened on that play? I couldn't get the video feed up

It was similar to the Boise play, but they had another receiver along the side of the 1st receiver who received the first pitch, he then option it off to the 2nd receiver. I believe it was 4th and forever as well.

pg04

It was 4th and 19.  There was about a 5 yard pass and then a lateral, then with about 4 yards left to the first down, another lateral which allowed Buffalo State to go about 20 more yards and the first down. This may not be the best explanation or completely accurate on the yardage.

Upstate

It was a Boise St vs Oklahoma type of a play.

Simple 8-10 yard hook, then Buff St had two guys coming in for the lateral.  The WR pitched it to the other WR.  That WR started running with it and at the last second pitched it. I swear it looked like a speed option only 10 yards down field.  I really thought the guy was going to score.

It sums it up well I would say.

I think between the 3 explanations the picture is probably close enough  :P.

"CLOUD"?!  I stopped drinking in 93. The last 5 mins almost sent me to momma's cupboard ;).  I couldn't be prouder of my BELOVED BENGALS. (You may note that I was proud of them after last week loss also. But OOOWWWEEEEE this proud is "Special"). Thanks Fisheralum and All the BENGAL well wishers. Coach Boyes undoubtly knew what he was doing when he scheduled this game and charted a plane for this trip!

Home game next week vs. Alfred may have a NICE crowd!  ;)
