Bengalsrule: When did the game start? Thought it was a 1 p.m. kickoff. Seems to be running later than all the others.

Final from Merrill Field: RPI 24, Alfred 21
Saxons dig themselves into an 18-7 halftime hole, come out and score twice in the third to take a 21-18 lead but couldn't muster much after that.
RPI got FIVE field goals from PK Andrew Franks from 31, 50, 45, 40 and the game winner of 37 with about a minute remaining.
Saxons looked like it was their first game of the season...RPI looked like they had a game under their belt.

Funny you should ask Pep. I thought the game started at 1 also so I set up a haircut apt for my son and I at 3:45. Got to the game around 1 to see both teams warming up.    Found out then that the game started at 2. Fortunately it gave me time to take my cleaning to the dry cleaners and stop at La Nova's and get some pizza.

  I missed the whole 3rd quarter and most of the 4th. But I got back in time to see Buff State thwart B-Port's 2 conversion and the BENGALS come back and answer with the final t.d..  Too many penalties for my BENGALS. I doubt they will beat Wisconsin-Whitewater playing the way they played today.

  Brockport is a very versatile team. Something tells me that they will be a team to be reckoned with this year!!

  Sorry to hear about your Saxons, but you are always a class act..win or lose!!!

I'm hoping they don't either ( give up triple digits)!! Just left the game after uww fumble return for a td!  Not much to add to what's been said. 2 different teams going at it right now. One varsity and the other jv!

Hopefully my BENGALS can make it respectful in the 2nd half.  Thank God conference play starts next week!
