Utica responds by putting together their own 91 yard drive in 12 plays, ending in a touchdown run by J'Von Evans.

How many times can you play this team and continue to be conservative on offense...

You need to keep the ball and you have to score TDs vs this team...

Tristan Brown dives up and in for the Bombers after getting a first and goal on the 1 when Utica commits a facemask penalty.  An interesting drive which included an end around morph into a 22 yard pass by Vito Bufoli.  The extra point is wide of the posts.

Utica 10 Ithaca 27, 6:54 remaining

Final- Utica 10 Ithaca 27 as the Bombers take sole possession of first in the Empire 8.

Meanwhile, late in the 3rd Quarter, Alfred is currently leading Hartwick 27-21 but the Hawks are in Alfred territory.

Sigh. This is absolutely a mental thing at this point. I just don't get it. Yes, Salisbury might be better than we thought, but it's hard to accept that Wesley can obliterate them while Fisher just can't get going.

Fisher's WR's are some of the best I've seen, and they're going to put up points every week, but Fisher's just got to figure out how to defend the option at some point and shut these guys down. Import some grass for that week if you need to. But a sobering loss

Alfred is absolutely dreadful at hanging on to the ball. Four turnovers, and they're now trailing 28-27 in a game they led 20-3 to Hartwick

Dom Scavo in for Alfred. There's a name

Is Tyler Johnson hurt?  Anyone know?

SJF (and ithaca for that matter) throws up a dud game every year.  It's science.  Probably makes them better down the stretch.

Agreed.  They wouldn't know what to do with themselves if they were 10-0 at the end of the regular season.  I don't know what the rest of the season will hold...but if this Fisher team makes the playoffs I believe they could do some serious damage.  So long as your name isn't Salisbury/Springfield of course :)   .  It's a talented team.

Sure, we all have the dud games, but Fisher's also 0-6 all-time against Salisbury despite having some superior teams (at least the last two seasons). I still think Fisher is a special team. Those WRs will kill people all year, and they're well-coached. But now every week is going to be do-or-die, because getting in at 8-2 is tricky. Here's hoping Fisher rebounds

Will Cheshire comes up with an interception for Buffalo State and returns it 76 yards for the touchdown, ending what had been a solid IC drive and turning it into points for the Bengals.

Buffalo State 7 Ithaca College 0, 11:52 First

Ithaca gets a 32 yard field goal when their 2nd drive stalls out just inside the red zone.

Ithaca 3 Buffalo State 7, 7:06 1st Quarter

Also of note- Halfime, Utica 13 Salsibury 14
