Some of the stats from this game are pretty ugly.

Fisher has 498 yards of offense and counting, they are 11 yards away from having back to back 300+ yard rushing games.

Alfred State has 51 yards so far on 51 plays.  Negative 14 yards rushing.

Final score

Fisher 61
Alfred State 0

Nearing the end of the 3rd it is still 24-7 Utica.

The Fisher game was what we all expected, but the rest of the games? Just another week in the E8.

I thought IC could beat SU, but to take them to the woodshed like that...not so much. Not after last week. And the UC / Buff State game is the total opposite of what I expected as well. Every week in this conference my opinion of certain teams totally changes.
GO FISHER!!!

I am continually amazed at how terrible some of the defenses must be in the OAC.

Mount Union up 68-7 against Wilmington with 12 minutes left in the 3rd.
John Carroll up 51-7 at the half against Capital.

Go for it guys.  Get over that century mark.

UMU could have scored way over 100 today if they wanted to. I checked the score at one point and it was 45-0 8 seconds into the 2ND QUARTER!
GO FISHER!!!

Actually, this is exactly how I thought this week would play out.  I should have formally written it down!  I believed Ithaca would win convincingly, Utica would beat Buff State, Alfred and Brockport finishing out the wins.  Now Brockport and Utica aren't in the clear yet, but they certainly are capable of holding on.

. I thought the same except for Utica.  Either way should be a great run of games down the stretch.

And that's all she wrote.  Utica wins 31-21.  Fisher is also once again in control of their own destiny with the automatic qualifier thanks to Ithaca.

I love triple option offenses. I especially love when they come to Butterfield and do absolutely nothing. We'll miss you, Salisbury!

Hartwick threatening to steal this game from Brockport State....complete a 4th down play for 26 yards to the Brockport 16 with under 2 minutes remaining, down 17-12....

But the drive stalls at the Brockport 7 yard line and the Eagles escape the cage with the 17-12 win.
On 4th and 1 from the 7, Hartwick completes a pass in the end zone but was ruled out of bounds.
'Tis a game of inches.

Pep was pleased that the 4th down completion, good for 26 yards, was a reception for freshman WR Carl Holmes, a graduate of Cuba-Rushford Central School and an acquaintance of Pep. Holmes finished the day with 7 receptions for 79 yards. Good game, Carl!

Well that was quick...7-0 Bengals. Someone tell the Fisher D the game started early today.
GO FISHER!!!

It was an odd drive, but none the less, Fisher responds with a touchdown. 7-7 early.
GO FISHER!!!

Fisher is making about every mistake they can make. Down 10-7

Fisher did not play a good half. A lot of miscues on defense, bad penalties, and some bad tackling. Also got stuffed on a first and goal from inside the 5 at the end of the half. However, Fisher is still leading 24-17 with Buff State getting the ball after the half.
GO FISHER!!!

Upstate

Fisher marches from their own 5 to inside Buff Sts 5 with a minute left in the half but get stuffed on 3rd and 4th and goal at the 1...

Really bad execution by the line on those two plays, they didn't get any push and were stuffed...

Fisher leads 21-17 but they really needed that TD...

Buff St is hanging around...
