...Well, the internet and broadcasting has gone out at Brockport.  So no new information with Ithaca having a first and goal on the 1, up 3-0 with about 4 minutes to go in the first quarter.  I would assume they got to 10-0, but obviously that is just an assumption.

Not a good day for the offenses so far, but Ithaca got a big break when a combination of lost yards and a big punt return gave them a drive starting on the Brockport 24.

EDIT- And now confirmed: Ithaca 10 Brockport 0, Ithaca then apparently got an interception but got nowhere with it.

Fisher marches from their own 5 to inside Buff Sts 5 with a minute left in the half but get stuffed on 3rd and 4th and goal at the 1...

Really bad execution by the line on those two plays, they didn't get any push and were stuffed...

Fisher leads 21-17 but they really needed that TD...

Buff St is hanging around...

Some poor execution all around for Fisher in the first half. Looks like they are still waking up from last week. Dominating the stats but the mental errors are keeping Buff State right in it.
GO FISHER!!!

Ithaca 10 Brockport 7 as Sharim Cobb punch it through from half a yard out on the 2nd attempt.  6:04 to go in the 2nd quarter.

Big score for Fisher, now up 28-17. Fisher has dominated since the end of the first, but the issue is still in doubt. Time to put the hammer down.
GO FISHER!!!

Halftime: Ithaca 10 Brockport 7.  If either offense could find a breakout moment, it'd probably swing the game, but the combination of good defense and the wind is keeping them down.

GO FISHER!!!

Ithaca 17 Brockport 7, the Bombers force a fumble on the first possession of the 2nd half and manages to find the yards in a slog to get the final touchdown as Ben Cary finds the hole for the receiving touchdown.  10:33 remaining in the 3rd Quarter.

Ithaca 24 Brockport 7, the Bombers have put it together here in the 3rd.  They forced a 3 and out on the Brockport offense and with good field possession make the yards again, with Ben Cary getting his 2nd receiving touchdown of the day.  6:14 to go in the 3rd.

A good win, but the didn't play well. Some of that is due to Buff State being a good team, but too many mistakes for Fisher. Either way they took care of business, and a two wins away from the AQ.
GO FISHER!!!

I dont know how but Fisher has an uncanny knack for taking idiotic personal foul penalties.
There is one thing to play with an edge, but some of those penalties kept Buff State drives going.
Gotta clean that up!!

BomberJeff

Ithaca 24 Brockport 14, Brockport running out of time though.  They went for an onside kick but it does not work, at the Bombers take over at the Port 44.  3:06 remaining.

Fisher is one win away from the AQ.  If they beat Ithaca next week that will give everyone else at least 3 losses in conference (assuming Brockport loses this game).  At that point it won't matter if Alfred beats us by 100.

And with one final interception, the Ithaca Bombers has defeated the Brockport Golden Eagles 24-14.

Next week, the E8 playoff bid will be on the line between Saint John Fisher and Ithaca College.
