I'll start off with - "Buff State is using SJF's aggressiveness against them" . . . there I won't upset the Upstate troll

Now for those of us that know football:  SJF's D-Line is awful, they are in 4 point stances and their first move is up and not forward, the linebackers lack fire, and the DBs do not possess athleticism.

The offense not that much better, the two QBs move in slow motion and have zero field generalship.

It is hard to believe that the coaching staff failed this miserably in the recruiting game -- with Fenti set to graduate you telling me they couldn't find a better QB that these two slow slugs???

Ithaca making the first mistake against Utica.  Opening drive ends in an interception when the pass is tipped into the defender's hands.  Utica just inside Ithaca territory.  0-0, 9 minutes to go in the first.

EDIT- Ultimately Ithaca gets away with it.  Forces a 4th and long and Utica sees the pass go just incomplete.  2nd time Utica's gone for it on 4th down, missed both times.  0-0, 6:25 in the first.

Holy Crap.  Utica's punt returner just got creamed at their own 5.  Looks like a personal foul coming against the bombers.

edit: IC called for interfering with the returner, not a personal foul.

I think interfering with the returner is automatically a personal foul, it was a 15 yard penalty.  But this gets back to something I mentioned off last week: Ithaca just keeps committing more penalties.  Its preventable stuff like this that just adds up after time.

Yea that one could have been prevented.  Hopefully IC will run some inside zone instead of the 2 runs behind the fullback that went for 0 yards already this game.

Woo boy Ithaca needed that one.  Not a good move at all by this Utica defense who's been somewhat in control of the game.

EDIT- Ithaca goes for a 40 yard field goal... high snap but gotten down... and misses wide right.  The wind is going to be an issue here in teh 2nd for the Bombers.  Still scoreless at 12:30 in the 2nd.

Nice post pattern to a UC wideout gets bobbled around as he goes to the ground and floats on the kids back as he is on the ground.  An IC defender takes the ball of his back for the pick!!!  or fumble?
