Must say, the Caz web site may be the worst I've seen for updating sports.  Statistics are for last year.  No write up of either game on the men's basketball site, but they do have a story about the JV team and one about how they are going high-tech with email updates.  Oh well

Some info about the SUNYAC tournament format for the 2007-08 season:

The top four teams from each division qualify for the tournament, based on their records from all SUNYAC games (not just divisional games). Those eight teams are then seeded 1-8 based on their SUNYAC records, and the tournament format is the same as last year (quarterfinals: 8 at 1, 7 at 2, 6 at 3, 5 at 4; semifinals and finals at the site of the highest remaining seed after the quarterfinals).

So, for example, if the East champion finishes the year 15-1, the East runner-up is 14-2 and the West champion is 13-3, then the seeds would be: #1 seed - East champ, #2 seed - East runneruip, #3 seed West champ. This format also means that a team could make the tournament with a record worse than a team that doesn't make it. For example, if the fourth team in the West is 7-9 and the fifth team in the East is 8-8, the West fourth seed still makes it while the East fifth seed doesn't, even though the East #5 has a better record.

It appears that the league will revert back to an 11-team, no-division setup in 2008-09 after SUNYIT leaves. I'm not 100 percent sure about this, however, but I think that's the case.

Hope this information helps.
