Regardless of who you were rooting for the whistle clearly blew before the shot and is was long enough before that players stopped playing.

Absolutely. When it's clear on a little streaming video screen then it should be abundantly easy to tell in person.

I was in attendance at the Chase game at U or R and that call taking away the 3 pointer from Sherrod Harris was one of the worst calls I have seen in my40 years of attending b-ball games. The people sitting around me had absolutely no idea why the whistle was blown. Everyone had a different idea of what took place. The kid that was supposedly injured in the play sprinted off the court and a few seconds later hit the 3 pointer that broke Brockport's back. The last five minutes of that game was "lets watch the officials' officiate"!!! Very sad because it was an excellent hard played game by both squads. Many times when a D-1 official works a D-3 game of this magnitude this kind of thing happens. Keep them at D-1 if they are that good. They are not the show--- the kids are.

The B-Port Golden Eagles are back!! Three nice efforts in a row and the returners for the second semester are starting to blend and understand roles. Watch out!!!This is big weekend with Oswego on Friday and newcomer Morrisville on Saturday PM.

with age comes?

Scooterman- I agree the effort lately is back, just hope that Bport hasn't painted themselves into a corner with all the early losses.  An at large bid will be as difficult now as the rest of the schedule with a home and away versus Oswego and away games at Plattsburgh, Geneseo, and Cortland.  Port may have to win the tournament to get in unless they play near perfect from here on in.

The Brockport-Plattsburgh game on Jan. 26th in Pburgh could very well determine who will host the Conference semis and finals. I agree that those early season losses could come back to haunt the Eagles if they don't win the conference tournament. I believe one of these teams will end up with a 14-2 conference record and the other one will be 13-3. Which one will probably be determined on the 26th, as it's their only meeting this year. Over the past 3 years these teams have met 7 times with the Cardinals enjoying a 4-3 advantage but home court has meant very little. 3 of the Cards wins have come in Bport, while the Golden Eagles have won 2 straight in Pburgh. 3 of the last 4 have been 2 pt decisions. Expect next week will be more of the same. I'm glad I'll be able to attend.

Don't look past this week with Plattsburgh playing Cortland on the short layoff.  Brockport has to beat Oswego which has shown fairly well so far this season.  Geneseo will be playing Oswego this week also and then leads Brockport into Plattsburgh next week.

No matter what happens it should be an interesting two months.

I agree with what is being said- Hopefully the Eagles haven't painted themselves into a corner as every win is important. I think the SUNYAC's is a difficult conference this year. Plattsburgh, Cortland, Geneseo, Oswego are all good teams and not easy to win at their courts. The rest of the conference is competitive, too. B-port needs to take care of business EVERY NIGHT. The Plattsburgh squad in my mind is Number 1 right now. Like I said before this weekend is HUGE for the Golden Eagles--Dont look past those pesky Lakers. Perrioli will kill you if not guarded.

B-port has got to put a streak together. Lightnin' Rod, B-Dubs, and the Eagle-Machine need to string some wins together!!! I think if they continue to win and make the SUNYAC finals but lose to Plattsburgh in the finals-The NCAA's are within reason. Their SOS should be pretty high for consideration.
