It is a very sad scenario in regards to rating officials---The coaches have no control over who does their games--They rate officials but get who are assigned--AT LEAST HS coaches can cross out certain officials up to a certain percentage of available officials on their board--college coaches are at the mercy and availability of officials assigned by the assignor--Their jobs depend on their wins and losses many times--need a better system!!!

Last two games have been classics.  Last year in Potsdam, Bears & Cards went to 2 OT's, Potsdam had a wide open layup to win at the buzzer in 2nd OT, and it didn't go, Cards win 89-88.

Year before, Teams went at each other hammer & tongs for 40 minutes.  Gibbs-Smith drove to the hoop with .07 left, got trapped in the corner, the refs bailed him out, called the foul, he made two for the victory 71-69.
That game started Cards on a run that resulted in their first SUNYAC title.

Lets hope for round III.

Sorry the Bears couldn't give you that big upset you were hoping for. The big upset was almost the Golden Eagles going down to SUNYIT. Actually it was an upset cause they didn't cover the spread(-16). The Bport team must have gotten sloppy after they grabbed that big lead. You need to talk to those guys. I really want them to run the table(except for the (hopefully) SUNYAC tourney championship game against the Cards). That would leave them with a 21-7 record and a fair chance to get into the NCAA's. I think they can do some damage in the tournament as they did last year when they got to the great eight.

I'm slipping. Only got 5 out of 6 tonight with my picks. Knew I was in trouble with that Fredonia pick. Houghton is an NAIA team and I don't know didily about them.

Hamilton had a nice win tonight over Williams. That might hurt Bport.

Never would have picked RIT to beat Ithaca in Ithaca. Bomber fans aren't happy tonight. Lots of back and forth on the E8 board between Stevens, Ithaca and SJF fans.

UMASS-Dartmouth wins again to get to 18-0. Still think they have a soft schedule and would rather face them than UR in the NCAA's.

Just saw that Stevens lost to Baruch(9-12) 75-71 in OT. There goes their top 25 ranking!! They can't blame that loss on a long road trip.
