To ILOveBasketball  - Thanks for bashing me regarding my comments about the game and the other things about going back to Potsdam....... I AM a Plattsburgh State grad and I'm telling it the way that I saw it. You did have a very good game, your team shot much better than usual (except for Dumont), and I beg to differ with you on your comment about not being a ballplayer. If you don't know squat about someone, I wouldn't be running my mouth, thank you very much. Please don't make me want to rip up my PSUC Diploma....
P.S. What's the big thing about who is better, you or Edane? Who was better, Bird or Magic? Chamberlain or Russell? To me, let's just sit back and enjoy watching the better players. Is is that important to be the best?

If their is one thing I have learned from reading the posts on this site over the last few days, it's that Gibbs-Smith won't be winning any 3rd grade spelling bees anytime soon.  Let's review his many spelling errors and give him his corrections for future use, shall we:

1.  EXECUSES-Excuses
2.  ARNET-aren't
3.  WHY DOESENT PEOPLE-Why don't people
4.  Right-Write (wrong usage)
5.  Closet school-Closest school

Just play ball dude!  Your only embarassing yourself on this site and creating the wrong kind of attention for yourself and your team.

Hey, Gibbs-Smith, name one thing important you've ever won in your life, at any level? I bet you didn't even win YMCA tournaments in Rochester. I'm a fan/alum of an E8 team, but I'm from Rochester and I know for a fact that you've won nothing of any importance EVER . Sure, you get some individual accolades(All-Greater Rochester, SUNYAC, etc), but you're not a winner and you never have been, so shut your mouth.

I'd take Barton's big-game abilities(I'm talking about the SUNYAC tourney, not a middle-of-the-season conference matchup) and the fact he's a winner over your stats any day of the week. Like McGraw said, let your play on the court talk. People like you are the ones who would take Peyton Manning over Tom Brady. I sincerely look forward to your team's premature exit in the SUNYAC tournament. Get some class.
A 2004 graduate of the "almighty legendary" Ithaca College. Goooooo Bombers.

Once again Gibbs, it would be: My GPA for my *four* (4) years not "for"... What do they teach you up there in the North Country.. Good luck after college...  :-*

Should the name of this board be changed to "SUNYAC Grammar School"?  Sheesh.  Take it easy.

And if so, Gibbs should probably point out that a "?" should have followed "North Country".

It's too bad that we've gotten away from bb talk and have gotten all worked up on grammar. Yes, the grammar has been bad, but that's not what we're here for. I hope that Gibbs-Smith has a great career, but I hope that he keeps the game in perspective. Bashing Edane is not the answer. I have met Edane on 1 occassion and I spoke with him for 8 or 9 minutes until he excused himself as he was going to be late for a speaking engagement. I found out that he was speaking to a large group of inter-city (NYC) youths about the positives of staying in school and getting an education. I have heard other stories like that relating to Edane. No, Edane may not be a superstar every night on the court, he won't make the NBA, but with his kindness and his outlook on life he will be remembered and looked upon as a hero to many young people. I guess you would say that he is a true ambassador for SUNYAC and all of college basketball.

John McGraw

Not sure why Nalls hasn't been in the line-up for C-State. He hasn't played to my knowledge since getting elbowed in the nose by Nick Perrioli last Saturday night. Fish, Schaller, Maggiacomo and Skrelja combined to play well running the point against Ithaca on Tuesday. As long as the point guard by committee works, I think Cortland will continue to use it.
