Like I said Lets have some fun

My last comment on the "fun" with regards to another conference/school in NYS being better than the Yac' and it's schools!

Hopefully the YAc will be deserving of multiple bids this year. Starting out 5-2 in their first 7 games of the season (vs. Skylines record of 1-4 in thier first 5) at least establishs a good trend! My hope this weekend for Sunyac schools is that they
A- Go 18-0 in thier games this weekend ...and..
B -Schools that begin with the letter "P" i.e. Plattsburgh upsets U of Rochester tonite and wins the Championship tommorow against either Keystone/Ursinus....and ..
C- i.e. Potsdam crushs Salem State tonite and buries Southern Vermont tommorrow in the Williams tournament (pretty smart of Williams to not allow the winners of the first night to face each other on Sat. night).

I'm gonna try and avoid any "fun" conversations that express opinions that put other NYS based conferences above ours. I do hope that Pat Coleman and others pollsters will look at the body of work that our SUNYAC teams produce during their non-confernce games. And when we do begin to beat up on each other we will at least have a 90% or better victory percenatge in our non-conference games!

P.s. To those fans of New Paltz, Cortland and Oneonta. Good luck as your women (Cortland and New Paltz) and men Oneonta play in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA soccer championships this weekend. I couldn't find a "SUNYAC" site on D3 so for JDEX and those who are strong supporters of SUNYAC it's good to see 2 Yac' schools in the Womens Sweet 16 and Oneonta in the mens S-16. Heck if New Paltz and Cortland win their games this weekend then they could face off in the FINALS of the NCAA Div 3 Soccer Championship. An ALL-SUNYAC final. Now that would be special.

And to the fans of Skyline soccer............never mind..they don't have anyone left in the NCAA tourney (Women or Men). :-[

GO SUNYAC! Kick some butt this weekend...and have some FUN! ;)

I expected Potsdam to have their hands full with Salem State who returned a ton from last year's 20-7 regular season MASCAC champs.

Didn't think that Brockport would lose to Montclair State though. :P

Real surprised that Oneonta won by 20. :o

Fredonia 2-0. Good non-conference start for the Blue Devils. 8-)

Plattsburgh called for a blocking foul against Dibartolomeo and he goes to the line and makes the first one to tie the game. He misses the 2nd one and Rochester gets the rebound and scores.  Cards come down and miss a shot and after a scramble for a loose ball a foul is called against the Cards. Coach Curle gets called for a technical, and after Rochester goes to the line Curle gets T'd up again and tossed.  Final score 74-68. I think we got jobbed. Even the Uof R announcers said that Dibartolomeo got bailed out on the blocking foul called against Plattsburgh when we had the lead  with 20 seconds left.
