Like the other East Region boards, lets talk about best players from the '00 to the '07 season. Here's my list. I'm sure I will forget someone.

PG - Ricky Hollis - Brockport or Nick Perioli - Oswego
SG - Michael O'Steen - Oswego
SF - Tom Williams - Cortland
PF - Mike Medbury - Brockport
C - Brandon Mills - Brockport or Eldon Harris or Andre Peterson - both from Potsdam

The center position is very tough figure out so I put all 3 in there. I don't know if there is much argument on the other 4 but we'll just have to see what other people have to say.

BBM

Good choices at center except for Andre Peterson. He played more of a #4 man. His injury problem kept him from being the best every night. As for the #3 man, I would have to give Edane Barton a share of that position. He was at the top of the conference in both scoring and in rebounding the past 2 years. For 6'2" that is quite an accomplishment. Any word on how his pro career is going in Europe?

The reason I put Peterson at the five is because he played more on the inside when he teamed up with Guida. I would say he was definitely a "5" in their system. He could've been a lot better if he was in better shape.

I'm not sure what is going with Edane Barton, as far as his professional career goes. I placed Tom Williams there because Barton was a good player on a couple of very good teams. He did have the tendency to disappear in some games. He had the potential to be one of the best players in the region but he was very up and down with his stats. Tom Williams was the best player in the SUNYAC for a couple of years and I believe led Cortland to back to back Sweet 16s.
