bports

Congrats to Bport on another good win against hamilton. Today Bport has another tough game with 10-0 St Lawerence coming to town. A win here should lock up the #1 seed in the chase. Brockport was already loaded at guard and the rich got richer with the arrival of junior sherod harris . It took him all of one game to get into the starting lineup and he has looked awesome. Against a VERY good hamilton team he put up 18 pts 9asst and 4reb and 5 steals. Also the arrival of 6'8" cantrel parish is huge for Bport. He put up 8 pts and 9 reb against hamilton. This was huge for the eagles as brandon williams really needed some help in the paint and can now play more at the4. Stay focused and get the W today Bport, the 1 seed is yours to keep, a loss could send you to the 3 or possibly 4 seed. No one wants to be part of the 4 vs 5 in the 1st round.

Bport blows out St. Lawrence by 30.  After picking up Sharod Williams and Cantrel, In my opinion and probably most others (we'll find out after the Chase) but Bport is the best team in the East region.  They do not have many weaknesses.  If they are hitting there jumpers they can beat anyone in the country.

I am wondering if Brockport will now start receiving some votes in the top 25 poll... Hamilton was receiving 3 votes and the golden eagles beat them handily, then beating an Undefeated St. Lawrence team... May garner at least some attention.
