There was no video only live stats and a radio broadcast that was 30 seconds behind the live stats. :D

Still not a single mention for the team that's in 1st place in the conference.

That's four games and the voters prefer to measure with all 11. (Also, 11 games is not a lot to have played by this time.)
Umm, would not most of the top 25 have played only 11 games (on average)?

Most of the Top 25 have played 12, 13 or 14 games at the time the poll was taken, so I understand Pat's point, somewhat. What's funny is Cortland, Geneseo, and Oswego had all played less games than Plattsburgh when the poll was taken. Those 3 teams had each played 10 games. ;D  Plattsburgh had also played more conference games than any of them. My point was teams that are in first place in their respective conferences are usually the teams getting some love in the polls, unless the conference is so weak that no one is getting any mention. In the case of the SUNYAC there have been 5 other teams with a mention in the polls and Plattsburgh has a valid reason to get mentioned as much or more than all 5 of them. Over the past 10 years Plattsburgh has been to the NCAA tournament 6 times, made the Sweet 16 twice and won a first round game on several other occasions. No other team in the East region, not just the SUNYAC, has a better record over that time span. I always hear how other schools have such a solid program and get voter support in part because of their history but I haven't seen Plattsburgh benefit from their success over that time frame.

As I said earlier, it doesn't bother me that Plattsburgh is being ignored. Getting some votes would probably be the kiss of death. Cortland makes their initial entry into the Others Receiving Votes this week and promptly loses at home tonight against Geneseo. That leaves only my Cardinals with an undefeated record in the SUNYAC. ;D

The word "ignored" seems a little strong. I'm sure some, like Dave, have them on their proverbial "radar." If Plattsburgh gets through the week, though, this could be the week with Cortland losing.

-- but if the premise of being ignored is motivation, they should definitely use it!  ;)

I lost the video and couldn't get it back but according to live stats Brockport made a shot in the last seconds to tie the game and send the game to overtime...

pg04

If Livestats is right, Brockport wins 77-67! An important win for sure for the Golden Eagles. Their FT percentage much improved in this game. Also held Oswego to 2 points in the extra session.

Generally have always found live stats to be ahead of video and/or audio

Geneseo tonight shoots over 50 percent from the field, Cortland just under 40 and does little from 3-point range till late and has many more FTs but fails to take full advantage. RDragons do hold the boards. Guest J. Decker with 25 points including clutch closing marks. He and J. Ringen carefully defend over the final minutes with four fouls apiece. Ringen fouls out at 0:59 with 17 pts(7x14fg), 9 rebs. Cortland's C. Joseph with 14 pts(7x14fg) and 10 rebs. M. Kelly with 11 pts(4x5fg, 3x3 3s); B. Estarfaa 12 pts after shutout in opening 20 minutes. JP Reagan with 9 pts(2x3 3s) in very limited play!(??).

Gens on the verge of pulling away on several second half occasions but never able to skate the home side. Hold 70-64 edge when Reagan delivers trey at 2:21 to cut it to 70-67. J. Cooper FTS bring Corts within one at 1:59. Ringen FT at 1:42 widens it to two. Reagan 'three' gives Cortland 72-71 lead at 1:26. C. Zaepfel FT pair provides Geneseo reversal at 1:16. Reagan FT ties it at 0:59. Decker FTs send Geneseo ahead 75-73 at 0:39. Estarfaa 3-pter at 0:18 puts Cortland ahead and sets up Decker's winner at 0:07.

Cortland/Geneseo do it again next Tuesday in Gen country

Sorry, no video tonight, and sorry to Magicman, no video or audio for games here Friday or Saturday vs. Potsdam and Plattsburgh. Just live stats. A little shorthanded during the intersession break. Tentative plan is to have basketball video this semester for Oneonta, Buffalo St., Fredonia, Brockport and Oswego games (but not New Paltz due to conflict with another home event).

I now recall you had said this previously but I had forgotten. Thanks for the info! :) I know things can be pretty sparse in between Fall and Spring Semesters.

Brockport at Oswego a game that ill be attending but I like Oswego in a close low scoring game 62-58

Geneseo at Cortland I like Geneseo to win and get back on track 75-73. I think Geneseo is a very good team and i dont know what has been going on lately with them.

Fran,
I remember you forewarned us that you were going to be shorthanded over the break. I'll just have to be glued to the live stats page. I appreciate the heads up. I'll now put the other 2 games up on my big TV screen and shift between the Fredonia-Brockport game and the Buffalo State-Geneseo game.

I think I'm in the same boat on Friday night as it looks like Oswego isn't going to have a webcast of their 2 home games this weekend either. So live stats there as well. Hopefully I'll get a good webcast from the Queen City of the Brockport-Buffalo State game on Friday night.

Tough one for the Red Dragons to lose tonight. Plus k for the heads up.

Congrats to the Bport E  agles last night's win over a ranked Oswego squad. They really needed that victory as others have said. They must have gotten some things straightened out with their interior defense as it was none existent against the Oneonta team. The foul shooting was a real positive area too. They just need to become more consistent and pull together as a squad. They should be a contender by tournament time.
Keep them rolling Coaches Dunne, Clarke and Johnston!!!!

Brockport's Twitter has video of the buzzer beater that ended regulation:

A nice lucky bounce is important now and again, followed by a heads up shot.
