Cards break open a close game with a barage of 3 pointers led by Jeremy Eisenman who hits 3 in a row, followed by another one from Matt Bernhard to go up 18-8. Still up 20-12, Nick DeAngelis gets fouled on a 3 point attempt and makes all 3 free throws. The Cardinals get a steal and DeAngelis burys another deep three. A minute later Eisenmann hits another three and Marlon Todd comes off the bench to drain another one. The score was now 32-14 and Plattsburgh had an 18 point lead. They settle for the 15 point advantage at the break.

The Red Dragons got back on the winning path last night. Should get another one here. Point spread has them favored by 12. I see Cortland winning this one 93-77.

Oswego State  at  Fredonia State        2:00 PM

Oswego in the 4th spot hoping to move up. Can't afford a loss here. Fredonia dropped into a tie for 7th with Geneseo after their loss last night. Experts have the Lakers favored by 14 after the Lakers won the first matchup by 23.  I'll take the Lakers by a few more....Oswego 75 Fredonia 59

Potsdam State  at  Geneseo State        4:00 PM

The Bears aren't happy over the finish of last night's game with Brockport. They need to forget about it and concentrate on today's game or the Knights will back door them to death. Bears only won by 10 in Potsdam. Geneseo needs an upset over a top 5 team to catch up to Plattsburgh. The oddsmakers have made the Bears a 12 point favorite in this one. I'm taking Potsdam to win this one by a 74-61 final score.

 
Plattsburgh State  at  Brockport State  4:00 PM  Game of the Day

The Cardinals took care of business last night and are now in sole possession of the 6th playoff spot by a game. Brockport got revenge against Potsdam and is in sole poseession of first place by a half game over Oneonta. The oddsmakers have the Golden Eagles as 20 point favorites to win this one. Hard to argue with that but I think the Cardinals will cover the point spread. Brockport wins this one 86-72 but I sure hope I'm wrong.

These Red Dragons looking to stay right on the heels of Brockport as they get ready for that big showdown next weekend. Oneonta can't look past the Hawks here who would love to pull off an upset to make their season. They only lost by 8 points earlier and think they can play with Oneonta.
