jdex,

Any partial scores on SUNYAC action tonight? Only thing I know is Cortland pounding Geneseo 52-14 at the half. Ouch!!

magicman

Brockport over Oswego 28-23 with 13mins left to play. Real defensive battle, I guess.

Man what a game wish I could have been there... almost 800 people at the game thats alot for a sunyac game...im back guys and everyone is healthy in fredonia..James kane 17 points off the bench...a few stats that are really going to hurt the bengals this year  2-10 from 3 by jake simmons a freshman he must really have the green light and 2 technicals from the other simmons a soph.  and last but not least the bench of buff st. got outscored 33 to 5.  I know it wasnt pretty but Fredonia never wins pretty.

Oh and Bengalsrule I am sorry man, it was a tough one

Thanks FreddyState for your condolences....and Congrats on the win! I was at the game and it was a tough loss for us (BENGALS).Having been up by 15, 57-42 with 8:02 left in the game and scoring only 2 points over the last 8 minutes makes it even tougher.

I am encouraged however especially when you talk about freshmen like 6'0" Jake Simmons (18.7 pts per game average over the first 3 games/40.7% from the field) and Sophomores like 5'10" Norman Simmons ( a 2 to 1 Assists vs Turnover ratio, 11.3 pts per game average and shooting 54% from the field...oh did I add 18 boards in 3 games?). Yep Normans' temper got the best of him on his 2nd tech ( the first was actually a double tech between him and J. Kane of Fredonia when Kane kicked Simmons during a tussle for the ball). But I will take "Capt." Norman Simmons in a Foxhole over anyone else in SUNYAC. You are right... at present youth is being served at Buffalo State College. And yes, the 800+crowd last night was the largest non-playoff crowd that I can ever remember. It was actually standing room only with 790 plus standing during the last 1:41 seconds of the game. And for those 2 underclassmen to experience that atmosphere last night will only make them , and the rest of the BENGALS,stronger!

And so as a true believer of the B.S.C. BENGALS I awaken this morning actually feeling much better than I did last night at 10:12 p.m. >:(.Coupled with the fact that starting point guard freshman-Anthony Hamer - ( 4.5 assists per game average and a 2.3 to 1 Assists to Turnover ratio in his first 2 college games) was injured and did not dress. Nor did Last years starting center Senior Capt. - Antonio Samedi (who was 18th in rebounds and 6th in blocked shots in SUNYAC last season) dress either. Both will be dressed and healthy for the next SUNYAC encounter! :) Trust me. ;)

So again congrats Freddyrules, on a great win. Come 1/29/10 I predict that.."IT'S GONNA HURT"
