If you're having trouble listening to the audio on Embry-Riddle's Stretch Internet page, you can also listen at:
http://goliathradio.com/level2/listenlive.aspx

I'm getting the audio feed and live stats with no problem off the link you provided on the Cortland website. Thanks Fran.

Nine lead changes and 5 ties so far in this game.

Eagles score and one to go up 57-54.  Jesse Winter comes down and buries his 5th 3 of the game to tie it up at 57. Cortland gets the ball after an Eagle miss and foul. Non shooting as the Eagles only have 5 team fouls. They foul again now 6 team fouls. Red Dragons Brian Manning misses a three pointer and the Eagles get the rebound. Time out Eagles with 57 seconds to go.

Eagles just hit a three pointer with 22 seconds left. Cortland comes down misses a shot by Jeremy Smith but McMahon gets the rebound and Cortland calls a timeout with 7 seconds left.

Can't believe the Eagles will allow Cortland to get off a 3 point shot. Here we go and Eagles foul Harrison Hefele with 5 seconds left. He makes the first misses the second and the ball goes out of bounds off Embry-Riddle with 4.5 seconds left. Cortland ball out of a time out. Still a chance here. Eagles foul Hefele on the inbounds pass. He makes the first and makes the 2nd to tie it up. Eagles ball under the Cortland basket with 3.5 seconds to go. Time out Eagles. I think we're headed to OT here I hope. Can't believe that Cortland got a chance to tie this game up.  Eagles miss a long 3 pointer and it's overtime.

Back and forth second half. RDragons with 51-44 lead but host Eagles nail pair of threes, eventually take 57-54 lead. J. Winter knots it with a CSt triple. D. Mondragon lands a three for E-R and 60-57 lead at 0:22

Jeremy Smith hits a three ball to put the Red Dragons up 63-62 after a pair of Eagle free throws. Eagles come down and hit a bucket  to regain the lead, 64-63. Cortland misses on their next attempt and Eagles hit a 3 to go up 67-63 . Winter is fouled and hits them both to make it 67-65. Both teams misfire on their next possessions and Eagles hit a 3 pointer with 41 seconds left to open up a 70-65 lead. Red Dragons'  Smith buries another 3 with 22 seconds left, and Eagles call a time out. Cortland quickly fouls on the inbounds pass. Eagles make the first free throw, now makes the 2nd to make it a 4 point lead. Jeremy Smith comes down and hits a 3 to make it 72-71 with 13 seconds left. Eagles with a timeout. Cortland will have to foul again, which they do on the inbound pass. Eagles Caesar Pastrana with 21 points to lead his team is a perfect 7x7 so far from the line. He makes the first, and the 2nd to put Embry up 74-71.  Cortland's Jeremy Smith comes down and throws up a 3 ball that's off the mark and this game is a final.  Tough loss for the Red Dragons.

Cortland falls 74-71 in OT to Embry-Riddle. Free throws give E-R first extra frame scores before J. Smith triple gives Corts 63-62 edge at 3:55. Homestanding Eagle C. Pastrana layup at 3:25 puts E-R ahead for good. Moves to 70-65 lead on D. Mondragon three at 0:41. Smith quickly responds for Corts from beyond the arc. Embrys clinch from the foul line, Pastrana in particular. He offsets another Smith triple that comes at 12.9 seconds. Pastrana two FTs at 0:11 post the final tally. Smith off-balance bid for three fails at the finish line.

Pastrana with 23 pts, 11 rebs in victory. J. Winter 30 pts, 8 assts, 5 rebs for CSters. Smith's final surge gives him 14 pts. K. McMahon 9 rebs, 7 pts.

RDragons 8-2 .......Eagles 13-1 and ranked fourth in NAIA Div. II .....

Rib time .....just not as tasty ...........

Sounds like it was a heck of a game.

I noticed in the box score that Billy Serle played 14 minutes for E-R and managed to go 1-6 from the field, including 0-4 from 3.  Added to that was a rebound and an assist.  Sounds like Billy hasn't changed his game much from his Rochester days.  I don't know if I've ever seen a kid, especially at 6'5" or so, so focused on launching shots.  His last year at U of R he led the team in shots and was 7th in minutes played

Brockport 79 Wells 57

No surprises in this game as the Golden Eagles opened up a quick double digit lead and coasted to the finish line. Port was up 18-3 after 4 minutes had gone by. They built the lead to 21 and settled for a 44-26 halftime advantage. The second half was more of the same as the Eagles stretched their lead to as much as 29 at 65-36. Wells was never closer than 20 points the entire 2nd half.

Brockport had 5 players in double figures led by John Ivy with 21. Lance Legister had 13, Bobby Bell and Mike Gallagher both had 11, while Jordan Major added 10 points. Bell led the team in rebounds with 7.

Wells had 4 players in double digits led by EJ Taylor with 21.

Brockport improves to 5-4 and is back in action on January 5th when they host St. Lawrence at 4:00 PM.

For the record...in case anyone is questioning why Jesse Winter was not named to the Team of the Week, don't blame the D3hoops.com folks. I forgot to nominate him - slipped my mind with the holidays. Not saying he would/should have won...just apologizing for my failure to nominate him.

Plattsburgh vs. #7 (D3HOOPS) and undefeated Franklin Marshall, on their home floor, in the Sponagle tournament! I can't wait for this 1! After giving #2 Middlebury all that they could handle on Nov. 25th, I gotta believe that the Cards are ready for this 1! They must contend with a team that has some size.  F & M starting line up is 6' 2", 6' 3', 6' 4", 6' 6" and 6' 7". Their leading scorer and rebounder 6' 7" Hayk Gyokchan looks like a beast (on paper). They bring a 6' 7" and 6' 6" off the bench for substantial minutes also. Fortunatly, for Plattsburgh, I've seen them handle a team that had 2 - 6' 7" and a 6' 6" player on the court before  >:(, so I'm not worried about Curle handling these big guys. I look for Manning to have a double double, for Moody and Perez to come out swinging and for Parker to have at least 4 treys!!!!!

Not a bad tourney with Giant killer Salisbury (beat #1 Virginia Wesleyan on their home floor-12/17) and Eastern Conn (Sweet 16 participant last year) also in the tourney! Latest Massey ratings have the SUNYAC at #15 in the country. Last years rankings stayed around  27th. A couple of wins in this tourney will bode well for the 'Yac

Not sure how I can watch or listen to this game but I gotta believe that some guidance will "magic"ally appear before tip -off on how to watch this 1. :D

Go Cards  88-83!

The other game is Geneseo at Medaille. I doubt that that will be much of a game. Geneseo should run away with that 1!
