Magicman you never cease to amaze me with your information and knowledge about D3 Hoops.
You definitely missed your calling, you should have been a Sportscaster and given Dick Vitale a run for his money.
You might sleep every 3rd day but I'm sure with 1 eye open.

A few quick predictions:
On 12/28 I have Brockport crushing Bridgewater State
Oneonta will have it's hands full with Central, There front line is pretty big, but Kareem Williams is back with Oneonta for the 2nd semester and will be playing in Puerto Rico. If Williams, Coleman and McElroy can control the boards I have Oneonta squeezing out a win here.

I have Brockport knocking off John Carroll in a high scoring affair.
Buffalo State beating NJ City and Oneonta coming off a big win the day before knocking off Gustavus Adolphus.
I might have to take the subway up to Lehman College a say hello to Benglesrule and see for myself how good this team is.

Thanks for the compliments All-Time. I do love Division III basketball and my close association with the Plattsburgh State program helps fuel my passion. I played on numerous teams throughout high school and college. I also did some sportswriting in college where I was the sports editor of the school newspaper and college yearbook. I became a basketball official after college but when I left that part of the state I didn't sign up with the local board in the area I moved to and retired from officiating after only a few years. But yeah sports has always been in my blood and basketball was tops on my list. Living in a city with a DIII team certainly helps and it's even better when it's a team from the conference you grew up with.

Merry Christmas to you and your family. Tell the older son I said hello. I will be sending you an overdue PM later today so be on the lookout for it when you get a chance.

Merry Christmas everyone--Scooterman is back in town. Magic I love your predictions for my Bport Eagles. I am going to get to see them play over in Daytona Beach as I live about an hour an a half away. I am very excited to see them live. I think they are a very good team that has potential to be a contender in the SUNYAC. I think they are going to have their big man from last season available to them. He should give them some added muscle inside. Anyway, enjoy all, and looking for a big week from my Eagles!!!!

None of that surprises me. You have an unbelievable passion for the game and I love to read your posts.
You must have been a great editor and writer for your college newspaper. I would have loved to read some of your editorials and columns.
I'm sure you were president of the Ref's association as well.
I'm a basketball junky and can't get enough of it so to be able to read up on the SUNYAC each week is fantastic, it's as if I were at the games.
I'm glad my daughter is playing HS basketball and will eventually play in college so I have 7 years left to watch her play.
Then I can retire and move to a college town to get my fix.
I will be on the lookout later today and let him know you say hello.

All time, did I ever tell you that I love your predictions?!?!  You gotta post more often, especially when you have inside info like Kareem Williams coming back!!  He was definitely a force in the middle in D!
I'm sure hoping that all of the Sunyac finishes string this coming week!

If you are coming up Lehman, then please let me know. I planned on making the journey myself ( need my Bengals fix after 2 weeks off)! Plus I have a sister in Manhattan and a brother in Brooklyn .

I hope everybody is experiencing the mild weather that we are getting here in Plattsburgh. 65 degrees today and partly sunny. All three golf courses in the area were open for business today and will be through the weekend. Strange Days but I'm not complaining. A year ago at the end of November, my friend in Buffalo was buried by a snowstorm of historic proportion that took him weeks to dig out from and caused cancellations of basketball games some of which were never rescheduled. I'm sure all the residents of the Queen City prefer this December to the ones they've had for the past 2 years.

Hope everyone was good and they get what they were hoping for this Christmas. Enjoy the holiday.

Still no announcement by the ECAC on who the Players of Week were for the week ending December 20th. They were supposed to make that public knowledge on Dcember 22nd but somebody there fell asleep at the wheel or they just decided not to have a POTW for that week.
