John Carroll, who didn't have to play today, is licking their chops for this tired team in 17 hours.

So true. I have to choose the winner of that game for my National Pick Em League as it's one of the 10 games on the slate for the week. I was going to take Brockport because I wanted to root for them and I hate choosing against a YAC team. I can't take them now, so I'll take John Carroll and hope Port wins and I lose the game in the league.

Never liked it when there is a tournament and 1 team has to play back to back days and the team they play on the 2nd day had the day before off. You are giving them a built in advantage before you even step on the court.

Definitely the smart play. Even had the game ended in regulation the team still seemed not ready for the Florida sun  8-)

Your guy up next. JJ Kukura for Mount Union. Too bad you can't watch him play.

Surprise of the day, Vassar College defeats Gustavus Adolphus by a 52-51 final.

Oneonta plays the Gusties tomorrow and I like the Red Dragons to win that game. Vassar lost to the last place New Paltz Hawks by a 70-68 score to open the season.

I believe it's safe to make this announcement now. Live stats can't possibly screw up anymore...can they?

Final score from Daytona Beach, Florida in Triple Overtime   Brockport State 100 Bridgewater State 95

pg04

Haha! The live stats for the new game still has the last plays from the Brockport game in it, with the new teams logos. LOL.

Champ,
At some point this year someone is going to walk up to you with a message from me and you need to pay attention. You won't know when it will happen but it will occur when you least expect it, somewhere on a court, far far from home.

Your guy comes in off the bench takes 3 shots and is the leading score on the team with 5 of their 15 points

YEah he doesn't start but plays a lot, scores a lot, and rebounds a lot. Must be because he's an underclassman? Not sure.

Hmmmm.  Don't know how to take that warning.  I bummed a ride with some friends to NYC so I can see my Bengals play and visit my brother Eric and sister Leecia (wifi reception is real bad heading through Scranton pa right now ).

Glad to see the Yac went 2 for 2 today. Something tells me that those Golden Eagles might be enjoying the sun a bit too much!  Hopefully coach Dunn has an early curfew for his boys, keeps them out of the pool, and other places that could sap thier energy. They are gonna need all the energy that they can must muster vs the waves of players that John Carroll throws at you!!!

3 games for the Yac tomorrow.  Here's to hoping for a clean sweep! Especially in the Bronx!!

You mean you're not in Buffalo? Leaving early for that game I see.

Yep. Ice and snow are headed to buffalo ( hey that rhymes)!  So I figured get out of dodge while the getting is good. Plus I got a real good deal on this ride and hotel. Couldn't pass that up!😃

Good idea to get out. Some of my family in Niagara County said it has started to really sleet/freezing rain. Some accidents already Don't want to be on the roads when that happens.

Hopefully Buffalo state and Western both win Tuesday, so we can play in the championship Wednesday  ;D
