John McGraw

Rother transferred to William Paterson and is listed on the roster.

Who knows why he chose Paterson, outside of the fact that they have a decent chance of competing for a national championship this year.

Good player but credibility is ruined after playing for four schools in five years. Though, I'm not sure if he actually stepped on the floor at MCC since he still has eligibility remaining.

Weird story.

Thanks for the Rother infor John.

Did anyone else notice Potsdam's loss to Clarkson? I think that is a bad loss. Maybe Clarkson's newcomers made a difference. Another possibility is Potsdam's head got a little big and they couldn't make it through the doors of Maxcy Hall. They must remember that good teams at the D3 level aren't led by freshmen and sophomores, they are lead by upperclassmen.

Slickyquick, I was at the Potsdam-Clarkson game on sat and I think you hit the nail on the head. Potsdam's freshman and sophomores played lethargic the entire game and were lucky to even make the game that close. They got killed on the boards, made careless turnovers and were out-hustled in all aspects of the game. After watching this game I was embarressed to be associated with the school and felt bad for coach Dobbs. He coached his ass off and tried to fire the guys up, but I guess they just dont have it. Its going to be a long season in the north country if something doesnt change quickly.

Maybe a good wakeup call for the Bears will be tonight when they take on NYU. The Violets return All-American Jason Boone and a slew of others. It will be a homecoming for many of the Bears but they might just want to hop on the bus back to Potsdam if they are going to play like they did against Clarkson.

Where are all the other Bear followers, did they hop off the bandwagon after the nice little run of the past 3 years?
