Some people are truly confused and marry in January. Will be thinking Oneonta @ Geneseo and Brockport while traveling to NJ for a wedding...my wife's  f!**/&%second  f!**/&% cousin. No justice.

A Fucillo weekend for the Dragons.  My best guess is they lose both, Brockport best shot at a win, and fall back in the pack with the ner-do-wells. Claims of smoke and mirrors justified.

Brockport really needs a Friday win to keep pressure on Geneseo Saturday. You are at home Eagles - time to get the job done.

Will be in Geneseo Tuesday night. Hope to see a full gym without going to SJF.

Enough about the Geneseo MIAs. If Perioli had not been injured we might not be having any of these conversations. The Lakers have had no point, Burridge has been lost without him, yet they are still scary and get one more crack at Geneseo, Port, and Oneonta.

good last point zola. can't dwell on what you don't have and we all know that shoulda woulda coulda's don't win basketball games.. lakers sure need him this year more than any..

bports

Brockport has not played a full 40 minute game since there win vs st lawerence. I fully expect them to come out at home tonight and light up oneonta. Around the 10 min mark of the second half this game should be over. This team is just to good to not play a full game in the last month. You cant even count there chase tourney game against keuka. With that said 4-2 in conf with 5 of the first 6 being on the road is pretty darn good. Even though they are not playing good they have held down the ship. Look for a nice run of W's out of the eagles with all yhese home games coming up.

Not much scouting needed for Friday's fare. Four games are rematches from just last Saturday: Oneonta at Bport, BS at Pburgh, Corts at Oswego, NP at Geneseo. Also, Freds visit IT.

Saturday docket also includes pairing from last week: Freds at Pburgh. Also slated NP at Bkport, Oneonta at Geneseo, Oswego at Pdam, BS at IT

Big time props to zola for use of one of cstate's fav commercials. +k to you

IT'S HUGEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Brockport took oneonta out behind the wood shed tonight. Brockport goes up 12 in the first half and ends up with an 8 point halftime lead. The second half is all Bport, i left with 1 min left and bport was up 100-69. Sherod harris had a monster game i would guess around 25 pts. Cantrel parish also had a big game with around 18pts 12 reb?. Brockport completes the sweep of oneonta which always is nice for tie break scenarios. Good job eagles NP is on deck for tomorrow.

Now that is weird.  Last week I'd have said (and probably most of the other what felt like 12 people in attendance would have agreed) that New Paltz didn't belong on the same floor as Geneseo and now they beat them on the road.

Geneseo loses tight one tonight against a hot shooting New Paltz team  74-71.  That being said, Zola and Coles, your points about woulda, coulda, shoulda are true but...tonight Geneseo plays without starting PG Bennett (foot??), SG-McDonnell (Knee), SG-Kling, and lost giant Sciera with an apparent arm injury.  That's 4 of your top 7 in minutes and points.  That's pretty tough to overcome no matter how talented you are.  35ppg and plenty of other intangibles out of lineup.  WIll be interesting to see how they bounce back against a solid Oneonta team coming off a blowout to BPort.  Who knows who will be in the lineup?  Bport looks to be getting back in sync as do Oswego and Plattsburgh.  Tomorrows games could really shake the top up.
