Jacket--Andy Foote? Very nice young man and hopefully will help the Eagles in the future. He has played some good minutes for them but too many players ahead of him right now. Hope he understands and continues to work hard.

What has happened to the Poles kid? His minutes just dont seem productive this season. Coach Dunne has given him the benefit of the doubt all season long but how much longer can he wait? Hope he recovers from whatever it is--Maybe this weekend on the western swing to Fredonia and Buff St. --Bring back Carney!!!Dont forget your cellphones, boys!!!

Yep.  Andy is a fine young gentleman.  From what I know of him, hard work will be no problem.

Good job with the updates. I've only got dial up and have a hard time pulling in those webcasts. High speed service not available in lots of areas surrounding Plattsburgh. But the college is getting grants to try and solve that problem.

Cards have now won 14 conference games in a row dating back to last season. Don't think too many teams can match that.

Actually, my Bears in '85-87 went undefeated in conference play for two consecutive seasons as part of their 60 game streak.

I think it was 23 or 24 straight regular season, and 6 in the playoffs.  The Cards have a ways to go before they get into matching streaks.

Nice win for Plattsburgh, Oneonta is always a tough place to play, being an arena setting rather than a traditional gym.

I knew that!! I saw a lot of those games. I was refering to D3 teams this year that have won their last 14 conference games.

Good win for the Bears tonight in New Paltz. Certainly want them to grab that 4th seed.

Isn't that 60 game undefeated streak by Potsdam the longest or 2nd longest of all time?

bearnation

Just back from New Paltz.  The Bears have  much talent that will be back next year.  They will be near the top.  If they keep their heads and play smart, could make a run in the playoffs.  The game was never really close.  New Paltz got hot late in the first half on some nice shooting.  Potsdam took control in the second half.  They played the bench the last 5-6 minutes.
May have to drive out to Oneonta tomorrow!
Or go see if Plattsburgh is for real. The adminstration  at Plattsburgh should take notes on the New Gym at New Paltz tomorrow.  I really enjoy when the Plattsburgh fans tell us how great their gym from the turn of the century is!  I've seen class D high school gyms better then the one they have.
